Really like this tracker, but…….see latest update.
I’ve previously had a Charge 4 and then a 5. Like them both, but all good things come to an end. Typical life span a little over 2 years. I’m ok with that. What I really like about this tracker is the smaller size. When my Charge 5 died (tried to wash it off under the faucet), I looked into the Charge 6. Reviews were not reassuring. So this one had more positive reviews and thought I’d give it shot. So far it’s been great. Easy to use, display responds well to touch, screen is legible, and it supports just what I need. Plus, it’s less $$ than the new Charge. At this point very happy with my purchase. Recommended. Will follow up with updates as needed. Update 5-10-24. So within three days battery dropped to 19%. A disappointment given the description states up to 10 days. So I made a few changes in the watch configuration and fully recharged. After36hours battery is at 66%. A week would be acceptable but anything less a disappointment. Update 5-13-24. Turned off always on display. Battery at 44% after 6 days, not bad. Happy I bought this tracker over the Charge 6. Update 6-1-24 Ok, I really like this tracker. Soooo glad I bought it over the Charge 6. It has yet to disappoint me and Im getting at least 8-9 days from a charge. Best part is I like the small profile and simplicity of the display. I see the large display watches and trackers and wonder why anyone would want such a clunky device on their wrist. Now if you wants apps, fancy displays, emergency calling, and all parameters on one screen, this tracker is not for you. So glad I made this purchase. 1-25-25. So the original Fitbit functionality was great throughout the past 9 months until the hinge point of the strap failed. The plastic where the pin secures the strap to the watch fractured. What to do? I tried some epoxy, worked for a few weeks. So I just ordered a new watch. Unfortunately, the watch gave me less than one year of service. Had it not been for its otherwise excellent performance I would have considered abandoning Fitbit. But I went and ordered a new one. Seems the watch is a disposable item with a life expectancy of less than a year. Too bad, seems few things in life have consistent longevity. I’ll have to see how long this one keeps me happy. I’m not going to deduct a star at this point. We’ll just have to see how this goes. 4-11-25 I really like this device. it has performed well. I've been reading a few negative reviews. Seems people expect too much from a small rather inexpensive fitness watch. This device is great as a tracker but is not without fault. Keep that in mind and you won't be disappointed. I think others feel they should get the equivalent of an expensive electrocardiogram or sleep results that you can only get from visiting a sleep center. Ain't gonna happen. Just use the device as it is intended, as a tracker. Overall, once the tracker has accumulated enough data on your habits, it will serve as a reliable reflection of your exercise and health. I think it is worth it and would buy another. 7-10-25 A few more months of use. No complaints. Good tracker. I sync it up with my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes it goes ok other times I need to pair it again. But not a major issue as it does catch up with the latest data. I rely on this compact tracker quite a bit for my steps, distance walked, exercise time, and general sleep quality. it also seems stop on with my resting heart rate. I still like it very much and would buy again. Another update 11-24-25. Watch very reliable thus far. No issues. Again the small profile of this watch is a real plus for me not to mention 8-9 day battery power. Use it mostly to track steps. I have a goal of 11000 steps / day and I’m on track with one month to go for a full year. Will buy another when this fails but I’m hoping to get more than one year out of this one.

Good watch for basics
Have had it for almost one year I believe? It does exactly what I wanted to do. Got it for my work so I could easily check the time without needing my phone and to track my steps and heart rate, which is the basics I wanted. Display is good, have not used the sleeping tracker but very happy being able to see my steps and heart rate which seem accurate. Phone synced up easily. Is comfy. Like that it’s small and not too big. I wear it all day from 8-12 hrs a day for work and anytime I go out. Charges last me a while? Think a full charge lasts a week. I can only charge it a certain way cause the cord is short and not a universal cord but I only charge it maybe once a week so it’s fine. I have gotten a few scratch marks from it hitting walls at work but it came out easily after I wiped it. Best function for me is just flipping my wrist a little and it shows me the time and my steps too (have it set up that way). And if someone calls me my watch vibrates so that’s cool. Honestly don’t use much of any other functions but it does everything I need. Easy to clean the band cause it definitely gets a bit dusty after wearing that almost everyday while working and sweating for months. Color is cute too.

Great watch, would recommend, happy I caved and bought it
I wanted to wait about a week before I reviewed and I gotta say I'm very happy with this. It's great. It's light weight, stylish and it even counts my steps on my pocket. Which is a huge plus because I work on fast food and they don't let you wear anything on your wrist. So being able to see my steps even when it's in my pocket is amazing. The fit is great, comes with an extra band that's longer if you need it. The charge is awesome. It last for days. One time I put it on the charger for at 51%, fed my cats, brushed my teeth and got ready for bed which all took about ten minutes and it was already at 80%. Also looooveee the fact you can change the display on it.10/10 It's a great fitness watch.

Good Product
The Fitbit inspire 3 is great for a low key profile, easy navigation, and works amazing with the Google pixel phone. The only down side that I have noticed is if you have large fingers that it might be hard to navigate the different options it provides. Its not a perfect device but it's easy to use and great for keeping track of your fitness. Would recommend

Fitbit app no longer serviceable
I have been very happy with my Fitbit Inspire 3. I have used it to track steps, sleep, and heart info. However, the associated app has recently been changed to a Google Fitbit app, which provides less information, less reliably, and in a way that is much less accessible. Many customers have complained, but they just respond with a rote reply about resetting the watch, not addressing the many problems with the new app. I have relied on Fitbit for years, so am very disappointed. Maronty is another inexpensive fitness tracker that has received good reviews. I will be trying that. Have reconsidered. Still miss total steps feature and history. Learning to find other info

Love at first use.
This is replacing a Fitbit Charge 4 that had the screen go out (half the screen went dim one day, then a week later the whole thing went dark. The watch still counted steps and transferred data, just no screen). I hated my charge 4 and it took me over a year to come around to using it. This watch is so different. I love the heck out of this thing. Right from the get go it worked perfectly, linked with the app, updated with no trouble, and transferred date seamlessly. The screen is bright and colorful, and it has a lot of free watch faces. It is slim and sleek and super easy to read (even with my 60 year old eyes). Messages come thru and clear (another issue I always had with the Charge 4 was it would not clear messages to the point I had to turn off that feature). I also love that I can have my step count appear right on the main screen as well as my heart rate. About the only thing I'm not thrilled with is the stupid little pins they use to attach the bands to the watch battery.

My favorite watch
I bought my Inspire 3 just over a year ago to replace a really old Fitbit. The old watch still worked but the screen was so dim you couldn’t see anything on it outside. I LOVE this watch. I bought the yellow band, it is still looks brand new. I tried a screen protector from eBay that was a plastic cover you put over the whole thing but the touch sensitivity was 0. I took it off. I try to be careful with banging my wrist on things like walls. I do hit the screen from time to time but there are no scratches or cracks. Once the screen froze so I followed the reset instructions I found online. It fixed the frozen screen and I haven’t had trouble again since. I swim with it and put it in water mode. I’ll go to the gym and it will alert me and ask if I am working out Hit yes or no and it will track. Fitbit recently changed to Google Health and the app is so hard to understand. Fitbit was a way better app. I do find I need to sync almost every morning if I want to get phone related texts and call alerts. Sleep mode helps keep the automatic wrist turn light up from lighting up and silences phone alerts. I love the multiple alarm settings and you can pick repeat if you need to. The vibration on low is enough to wake me if I choose to use it as a wake up alarm. Overall, as with all technology, sometimes there can be duds. I am glad mine is not a dud.

Distance is estimated (not tracked) and is inaccurate.
Disappointed. I returned the item. At the entry level Fitbit Inspire 3, there is no internal GPS tracking built into the device. This means, in order to track your distance (steps or miles) you have walked, you are instructed to pair the inspire 3 with your phone and bring your phone wherever you go for more “accurate tracking.” Even while connected to my phone, with GPS tracking, it seems my phone’s tracking is more accurate, as it is using a GPS to estimate distance traveled, and appears to in no way impact the distance tracked/estimated on the Inspire 3, which is using an algorithm to estimate distance, based on what is detects from its sensors. The inspire 3 does offer an away-from-phone tracking feature for distance, but it is also wildly inaccurate. Tracking without a phone relies on arm swing to estimate steps and distance. Overall, even when connected to my phone, the distance tracking is still inaccurate. When using it on the treadmill, the Inspire 3 tracking was incredibly off, meaning if you are a treadmill runner, you are better off removing the device while using the treadmill and entering your distance manually on the Google health Fitbit App. The inspire 3 does offer a heart rate monitoring (bpm) feature and it seems to be accurate which, for the average recreational athlete, should be more than sufficient. I recommend reading the study by Higuchi et al. (2025): Validation of heart rate measured by the consumer-level wearable device Fitbit: a cross-sectional observational study. The other main tracking feature is sleep. I cannot speak to the accuracy of the light, deep, and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep cycles it detects, but the sleep monitoring as a whole seems accurate. I can see when I fall asleep and when I woke up, which seems to roughly correlate to when i last looked at the time before I actually fell asleep and the time when I woke up. Text message alerts are received and viewable on the inspire 3, which is handy, though responding via your wrist is not available on this model. There are built in timers and alarms, which is convenient, as well as a “find my phone” feature, which works as long as your phone is connected. I really liked these added features. As a pedometer for tracking distance, I am disappointed. The accuracy is poor. Even when data from the Apple Health app on iPhone, is shared with Google Health (Fitbit) the distancing tracking is not accurate. Tracking my distance was the primary reason I purchased the Inspire 3 in the first place. Overall, I am enjoyed the heart rate monitor, and the sleep tracker, though these features were not under consideration when I purchased the product and are secondary to the original purpose of the device. If you are a prospective buyer, I would recommend that you consider spending more to purchase the Fitbit Charge, Versa, or Sense models (I have not reviewed these), which have an internal GPS, or despite Fitbit’s budget friendly products, purchasing a fitness watch from a different company might be a better route. Though it has some cool feature, and has a sleek design, do not pay full price, wait for a sale!

I am really happy with the FITBIT inspire tracker. I got the yellow one, the colour is really good. Looks very trendy. I got the tracker mainly for tracking my steps and to use it while swimming. Highly recommend it!!
