After a vicious street brawl, young Al Capone (Eric Roberts, Runaway Train) lets his little brother Jimmy (Adrian Pasdar, Top Gun) believe he has killed a man. Jimmy, haunted by his conscience, leaves town. Three years later, prohibition has swept American and a law-abiding Jimmy, now known as Richard Hart, is appointed marshal in the small town of Homer, Nebraska, and has married Kathleen (Ally Sheedy, The Breakfast Club) while Al has become the boot-legging crime boss of Chicago. For Al, there isn't a lawman who can't be bribed or beaten into submission - until he reaches the marshal of Homer, Nebraska. Al puts a contract out on the marshal, also offering a reward for whomever finds his brother, unaware that the two are one. When they finally meet again, Al welcomes Johnny back into the family, but the reunion soon becomes a showdown. Neither lawman, nor lawbreaker will back down as the battle between good and evil becomes a brutal family feud that can end only in bloodshed.

Enjoyed the movie very much
Enjoyed the movie very much. It had some extra meaning for my family since my wife grew up in Homer, NE. We also know Two-gun Hart's son and grand-children.

Bad Company; Bad Tape
When the VCR tape arrived it was supposed to be in good condition. It was taped with scotch tape and tore immediately in my VCR which now is not usable because a piece of tape is stuck in it. I wrote to the company four times and got no response. Don't ever do business with this company as they are unreliable. And, do not stand behind their product.

The Lost Capone
I purchased this dvd awhile ago to add to my rather large collection of Mafia movies. Although Capone did have a brother who in real life died at the end of a gun for his criminal activities he did not have one who was a US Marshall. Al kept his siblings out of the lime light except for the one brother who was just as involved as he was. I recalled his sister saying after Al's death that he was a good man and he wasn't the man that the media made him out to be ( i guess she was in denial). I found this dvd a rather interesting whatif. Worth a watch and yes worth collecting.....

The Lost Capone Is It Fiction?
Seems as though this movie was underplayed......Tried to find it in video stores but it was not there. Not many people recall having seen it. The movie was excellent. The cast played their rolls very well. The story was one that could be easily believed. It would have been an interesting twist to the life of Al Capone. Were there any brothers and or sisters of Capone? How many?

very good story
I saw this some years ago on the t.v and forgot all about it. Very good suppositional story. But I could never see Al Capone worrying about anybody but himself. I can also understand any brother of his wanting to get lost and lead a completely seperate life. Well acted and a good storyline. I recommend you try it.

reasonable viewing
Okay when there's nothing else to see on TV.Nothing gripping in this production and storyline was somewhat pedestrian in brief a gap filler.
