Probably could have used one size bigger. I would question how waterproof or water resistant it really is. The door seal is mediocre at best, and moisture can definitely can come in the fan / vent holes. It honestly isn't bad, but expected a little more for the price.

Little fan comes with wires installed, just need to connect to a 12vdc power source. Moves air ok through the box. Box locks tight, good amount of room inside, included shelf is useful too. Using it to house my outdoor audio source units. No problems so far

Works great for the VFD I have for my 2x72 belt grinder. You do have to hardwire the micro fan though, so I just bought a 12v plug in cord and rigged it to the fan. It’s inside, but it works great with keeping dust out and keeping my VFD from overheating. There’s a lot of metal dust that flies around when I’m grinding, so this was a must-have for the shop. Easy to install and comes with anchors for it. Plenty of space that’s adjustable inside, though the depth of it isn’t super huge. I just turned the VFD to the side though, so it’s not a big deal. Does its job well!

The enclosure is great, my project is inside and ventilated. However the gasket around the door does NOT keep out rain. I will have to build a hood over the enclosure to prevent rain from entering around the door. Disappointing.

Good case for the price hope the closures don't break as plastic. I would not use outside. I use it inside in a garage to house a switch and some power bricks for security cameras. The exit fan to remove hot air from the box blows thru a filter? IMO the exhaust fan should blow outside unrestricted. In the case of outside use perhaps the filter helps prevents water from getting in but very little air is coming out and in the case this box is outside in the heat this fan is useless as it is so tiny. Deciding now whether to remove the filter material for inside use.
