artfone F30 Black- 4G Unlocked Basic Mobile Phone for Seniors丨Flip Phone丨SIM Free Big Button Senior Mobile Phone丨2.4" Display丨 SOS Button丨Speed Dial丨Charging Dock丨Bluetooth丨Torch丨1300mAh Battery

For the price point a good basic and compact mobile flip phone.

I've got this phone for my mother-in-law who already has a mobile phone but she needs a phone that just does the basics rather than a phone that has a multitude of functions so this looked to be ideal for her. This review is based on my first impressions of it, as I've not been able to use a sim card in it yet, I can only comment onseeing it up and how it feels. This item arrived in a branded box. The box wasn't sealed but all the contents where in sealed bags. You get, a flip mobile phone, a battery, a charging dock, a charging "c" type lead, and an instruction booklet. I've put a tv remote next to the phone so that you can see the size of it. The first thing I had to do was put the battery in, and I immediately noticed how plastic this phone is. The back isn't like a regular mobile phone, you don't need a roll to remove it, it opens by flicking it off. Inside there are positive for a memory card and a sim card. Set up is quite easy. The controls are easy and is a case of going through each setting and by selecting what level you want it. The keys are large enough to select easily and because they're on the large side there is less chance of selecting the wrong button. You are able to enter contacts as favourites so that they are easy to access. The sos function is a good idea as well, especially if this is for an older person. It's easy to charge, there's no need to have to fiddle and correctly position a charging cable, simply position it in the charging dock and there is no risk of damaging the battery by keeping it plugged in after It's fully charged as it says it cuts off when it reaches 100%. If you're after s phone that does the basics, and you don't want or need a multitude of ducting and apps that you will never need then this could be just what you're after. It's a lightweight phone that doesn't need a case as it folds close so your screen is protected. It does feel to be on the cheap side, but considering the price i suppose it's a case of you get what you pay for. Should any issues arise when it's being used I will amend this review, but as long as it does what it's made for, which is making and receiving calls I'm sure my mother-in-law will be pleased with it.

Easy affordable

Ok

Basic, doesn't have predictive txt,

This is a very good basic phone for use by older people who perhaps can't manage a smart phone. Bought for my husband who is very happy with it's simplicity of use

Great for people who wants a simple usable phone. Easy to use and great quality

Flip phone, SIM free big button senior mobile phone, 2.4" display, SOS button, speed dial, charging cock, bluetooth, torch ~ 1300mAh battery. We have to have a flip phone for my dad as we set it up ~ Closing the phone means it was the end of call. Because he forgets to answer and hangs up the call, so having it set up means we ha e no problem as he does not need to press any buttons. This mobile phone is for emergency for my dad who had dementia, it has:- 3 speed dial buttons 8 speed dial numbers SOS Emergency button (on the back) Unlocked Charging dock USB C fast charging cable Torch FM Radio Bluetooth *** The rear SOS button works when you hold it in for 3 seconds and it automatically rings up to 5 people you have selected to be your emergency contacts. *** Numbers 2 - 9 you preprograme who you want. Hold the number in for 3 seconds and it will call that person without you having to dial there number. *** The battery lasts:- * 4 - 5h of continuous talk time * 200h of standby time Its been working out well so far because he hasn't got to put a charger cable into the phone as it charges via the cradle holder. Big buttons are so easy to ring people. We have programmed all the numbers for him so he only has to keep the number pressed in for 3 seconds and it rings. His favourite seems to be number 3 speed dial number, which is me. Only thing with that he tends to ring me mostly and asked me to ring who he wants and tells them to ring him lol.
