Old Stock?? M1-301
Old stock M1-301 filter was sent to me and not the newer "3X" more capacity (as pictured) but the older "2X"... not that it was a bad filter or anything and I still would use it over any other brand filter out there... But I expected what was pictured! Just Saying! However, these are one of the best filters you can buy for the $$$ off the shelf! They have a Very heavy duty casing that should not bulge or burst because of high oil pressure... And are well made on the inside with a Synthetic fiber blend filter element that removes 99.2% of contaminants. I also like the M1-301 as it is a longer (larger capacity) filter then the OEM shorty used on most Mopars and that gives it a longer "use" life and with more filtration area, a greater flow rate getting the "filtered" oil back into the crankcase. They are also Made in the USA !!!Maybe my next order will get me the "3X" version :)

Much heavier then my Pure One filters.
I bought these on sale for $8 each.I had read that these were a good extended service filter and wanted to try them out.Yet they were $12-$15 each in stores so when Amazon had a sale on them for $8 I bought 2.They weight much more then the Purolator Pure One oil filters, which are a fine filter. And these havesynthetic filter materials and are rated for 3x the life that Pure Ones are. I do use synthetic motor oil andwas wanting to get an extended mileage filter. I believe these will work just fine.

000 miles on my Eagle for the past 10 years and the motor still runs great. Longer time between oil changes means I save ...
This actually fits 1994-1997 Eagle Visions as well as Dodge Intrepids of the same years despite what Amazon says. Ive been using this filter and replacing my oil every 10,000 miles on my Eagle for the past 10 years and the motor still runs great. Longer time between oil changes means I save money and can spend a little more for high mileage synthetic oil.

The best high capacity, high mileage choice for 07-09 FJ Cruiser
Yes, its huge, but it fits the early FJ Cruiser with the upper motor mount location. Search the FJCruiserForums site, you'll see lots of guys using them. Unbeatable short of installing a remote filter racing system. I've used these since I bought mine in 2008.IMPORTANT: These are 3.8" across the base. They are not 2" across obviously. The specs on this page are wrong. I've measured repeatedly and they're about 97mm across. These still fit on the FJ, unlike my previous favorite, the K&N HP-3001, which must have changed their tooling because the K&N are now just a fraction of an inch too wide and no longer fit the FJ. Shame. I used to love the 1" nut welded to the top that made removal of the K&N so simple.

ADBV not sealing?
I've had this filter installed on my 318 for the last year. I got it and 5 qts of m1 0w-40 for 30$ from pep boys this time last year.My filters previous to this were just the bang for the buck purolator classic 30001. I admit to being one of those in the store who would blow through the exit hole and see if the adbv was sealing tightly. I don;t reacll doing that to the current m1-301 I have in use now, but this one, also listed as 2x capacity, does not seal for this possibly invalid test.I am going to claim it is because of the thread end bypass valve and use it anyway, but if my lifters tick on start up, I'll remove it from service and let you all know.

The best filter material and construction, large capacity.
Some of the best filters on the market, and they are a bit better priced, even with shipping on here versus in store. This size fits where the typical PH16 (Fram designation) goes on many Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeeps, but has more capacity. I use this on my 1992 2.2l turbo lebaron and 2000 4.0l Jeep Cherokee.

Awesome Filter
Great filter that can filter out oil for many miles. Keeps my oil clean and looking good every oil change. No leaking. Solid seal. I wouldn't go all the way up to 15,000 miles, but I'm sure it had no problem going up to 10,000. Large filter so that helps the oil go to such high miles. Defiantly buying again!
