One of the batteries cannot be used because of a misaligned socket. They should have not included extra parts because the propellers don't match.

The media could not be loaded.  Having tried toy helicopters in the past I was not expecting much from this But It Works, doesn't crash instantly, and is semi controllable, and it sends video back to your phone!Don't get me wrong, this is Not a professional tool, it is a Toy.It is smaller than I expected as seen in the picture with a toothbrush for scaleBut it is a Nice toy with sufficient stability and capability to be well worth the price.It comes complete with three USB rechargeable batteries for the copter, each good for more than 25 minutes of flight and a set of 3 AA batteries for the control box.This description is based upon less than an hour of flying time so you will probably get better with practice.A. Stability: It does not immediately veer off in a random direction or flip over and crash, but it does not have GPS station keeping ability so it will drift with the breeze. I found that with very little practice I could control it well enough to keep it nearby.B. Controls: The auto take off and landing works well, the object avoidance (front only) less so.It claims to be controllable via its WiFi connection to your phone. I did not even try this but others have complained about lag.C. Durability: I managed to crash it 5 or 6 times. Landing on grass almost guarantees that it will fall over and hit its blades. IT SUSTAINED ZERO DAMAGE. They include a spare set of blades but the loosely hinged nature of the blade mounting keeps them from being damaged by contact with most objects.This is an important feature for a child's toy. The same design feature protects people from injury by skin contact with the spinning blades.D. Communication (video): The prime feature that distinguishes this copter from less expensive toys is that there is a camera in its nose that wirelessly delivers in flight video to your smart phone screen.It does this by creating a local WiFi hotspot that a downloaded phone app connects to.The app runs on either android or apple phones and allows still pictures or video streaming started from the phone screen.Note that this is via a WiFi connection, Not Bluetooth (for longer range). To start video streaming you must first power up the helicopter, then the control box. then go to the WiFi connection settings on your phone and scan for KY - WiFi xxxxxxx. Connect to this hotspot (note: no internet) and Then start the phone app. You should then see the helicopter video on your phone with buttons to take still photos and start and stop video recording. The video is being recorded to your smart phones memory so there is no length restriction. The Video is NOT 4K, it is less than 720 resolution, but enough to give a sense of a view from the helicopter's pov.

The tail rotor does not work so it's pretty much JUNK ! Save your money! There is cheaper and better helicopter's than this. I wouldn't have gave it 1 star but had to.

When I first tried it out I found it very difficult trying to maneuver absolutely anywhere, it won’t fly forward nor backwards. There wasn’t any wind and yet it couldn’t do anything but spin around

This RC helicopter is not the best of quality. Pretty easy to use and has a air gesture mode on top of having tech smart enough to have it avoid obstacles. It has a one key altitude hold and take off function. Can rotate 360, is controlled with a remote controller via mobile phone app, and has HD 4k dual camera. It can be used in battle mode against a similar helicopter. At night it has LED lights on the tail. I gifted it to my nephew who loves anything RC and he was not as impressed as I thought. But he did mention that it was pretty easy. Overall, for the price point, was hoping the quality of the material used for this RC unit was a little more sturdy. Haven't crashed it but wondering how it'll hold up from a fall.

This is not really for little kids. I’d say you need to be at least 10 or older to use this properly. You use your cell phone to navigate it and it goes pretty high in the air. The helicopter is lightweight and the controls are easy to understand. My 13-year-old nephew was gifted this for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Soon as he open the box, he ran outside to get it set up. This is a really cool gadget that even has an adult I wanted to take turns using it.

There is nothing to push to turn it on or off.
