I am on my 2nd doggie door from this company and I have always needed the extension tunnel. At my previous house it was a perfect fit. At my new house, due to Styrofoam insulation, this doesn't fit as well. I could use another 1/4 to 1/2 inch. We resorted to duct taping the inside and the dogs are fine with it and it's lasting.
