These door locks seem to be very sturdy and gives us peace of mind. They were very simple to install and are also fairly easy to operate afterwards. The white blends well with the door trim so they are not as noticeable, however choose whichever matches your decor or door hardware.

I am a female living at home alone so I am always trying to find new ways to secure my home. Apparently many robbers enter by kicking your door down, so having added reinforcements that make it harder to kick your door down is essential. I have seen videos on how to improve the security of my home, and these door lock reinforcements were on the list of recommended items.The listing says that these can handle up to 800 pounds of force for extra protection. I have no way of testing this, but after installing them, my doors do feel much more secure. These feel very well made overall with a durable and thick aluminum material, and don't have any looseness to them at all when locking/unlocking them. Using them is easy and straightforward. I love that it comes with different sized stainless steel screws as well. I would highly recommend using the longest screws possible since the longer screws will make it these door reinforcements more securely attached to your door frame, and will be harder to dislodge in case an intruder tries to kick your door down.Make sure that your doors open inward (facing you when opening), and not outward as the photos show. It only works on doors like this to be able to hold a door in place when trying to open it. Also ensure that there is enough space in your door's gap with the frame for this lock to be installed properly. Aside from those, it was quick and easy to install.I feel more at ease being home along with these installed and highly recommend them. You can never be too careful. It is better to secure your home now to prepare in case something happens!

Three worked. One didn't right out of the box. I disassembled it via punching out the roll pins. The quality control sucked. They put an extra roll pin inside the housing. Removered the extra pin and it still won't work so three quick install. One in the trash. Thanks again China! I didn't even bother contacting the supplier it's not worth my time. So BEFORE you install any of them, check them ALL!

These home security door locks are exactly what I needed to prevent my young son from opening the door! He has become my little escape artist and knows how to unlock the door and deadbolt; this is a life saver!I am very happy with this product; they are exactly as described and pictured. Made very well, out of aluminum and heavy duty. The package includes everything needed to install them, which took no time at all. This is a simple fix to what could be a serious problem without breaking the bank!

Used on the pantry door and it's great. The other kinds our toddler figured out how to work them eventually and then there went the snacks but this one he can't and it works great.

The times are unpredictable. I live in an area with sky high crime rates. With a door knob, you can easily use a hammer to knock if off and gain access to the inside that way. With these in place and your loved ones inside, it makes it that much harder for someone just bust their way inside. You get four, which gives you plenty to place wherever you please. There's even a satisfactory click sound when you snap the lock into place. Very cool. Totally worth it.
