My child is 8 years old & I know this will be one of her best presents! She is going to love it!As an adult, learning to draw, this book truly is amazing in my personal opinion. Explains drawing in such a (easy) way, that one actually manages to draw a dog that for once does not look like some un-identifiable scary creature. From real life examples to funny/comic drawings- super easy to follow instructions and SO very helpful for one that never truly drew anything simply because I always said " I can not draw". THIS book busts that myth and I would really highly recommend it to anybody wanting to learn how to draw and/or have someone explain how to draw easier and more confident with simple guidelines that really work. Definitely an awesome book for kids, but certainly one for adults as well !

Got this for my godson who is 6. He's really into art because I'm an artist and have literally only bought him age appropriate art supplies since the moment he was able to start creating stuff. This book is great because it has a step by step with a space next to it for them to follow along to learn how to draw. It has tons of categories and there's no gendering of anything. And everything has cute faces so even "boring" things you should learn to draw are fun. Highly recommend for little budding artists!

What a great author/teacher! It was requested that I buy both books (how to draw animals also) and I’m so glad I did. Although targeted for younger humans, I found them both to be absolutely fascinating, educating and illuminating. You can’t go wrong, whoever you buy these for will be ecstatic!

My daughter loves these books. She was able to start making some really cute drawings right away. Easy to follow and all of the drawings can be easily completed in just a few steps so she doesn't get bored or frustrated.

Great book to help young kids interested in drawing. Has huge variety of items to draw and puts little faces on them to make it more fun. The drawing space could be larger though.
