Another smasher of a book from Kathleen Glasgow!! That woman just knows how to write a good book on very traumatic themes and do it justice!!

Love this book!
My first read from Kathleen Glasgow was ‘the girl in pieces’ I fell in love with that book from the get go. I decided to read another book of hers and wow I’m not surprised by how much of a great read this was too! I recommend you give it a go if you like ‘girl in pieces’

A heart rending, emotional, YA read
This is a heartbreaking, emotional YA read about a young girl who turns to alcohol as a way of coping with her adolescence and family issues. It’s not an easy read and I found the writing a bit ‘clunky’ and disjointed at times, but, overall it’s a good read about a difficult subject and I hope it helps readers who are having similar experiences.

Love the book
The author Kathleen Glasgow is an amazing writer. I have 3 of her other books and I love all of them. I recommend this one and her other books. You should totally get this. Especially if you’re interested in the kind of mental health ish book that’s not just facts but still a book you know.

Kathleen keeps on finding the perfect words
I have read every book Kathleen Glasgow has put out, starting with « Girl In Pieces ». Back then it felt a lot like having finally found a friend. Someone who understood what life felt like for some of us. Every book after that has made me fall in love with her writing more and more. The way every line makes you feel something. The way she makes you understand how something feels, even tho you might have never felt it yourself. It is magical to have such an ability at using the 26 letter alphabet to make us fall in love with so many different characters. This work is beautiful and necessary. And I can never Thank her enough for giving people like Bella a voice.
