Clore Automotive SOLAR BA7 100-1200 CCA Electronic Battery and System Tester

Got this as i had replaced the battery on my motorbike and after a couple of months the new one never had enough power to start the bike. After testing with this (very easy to use) it showed my battery was ok, knowing this the fault had to be elsewhere and it turned out to be a fault in the starter. Very nice unit would highly recommend.

bought this some time back. I can confirm this really is a neat bit of kit. Checked the battery my self with this then went to get my MOT while i was there asked them to test the battery with their test and behold both testers saying the same thing charge battery. With this tester you can check the state of your alternator, see if your battery will hold a load under pressure all very cool. check out youtube vids. save your self with huge repair bills get this first. If your battery is 5 year or more just change it

Works well easy to use no language problems but good idea to learn battery terminology as the unit can test a range of batteries types.

Wish I had bought this first? Would have saved me a great deal of aggro this tool immediately showed my battery although holding a good charge? Was in fact useless!! Excellent piece of kit

This tester has had several months of heavy use during which time it has performed flawlessly. It's only limitation is that it shouldn't be used on batteries with a capacity exceeding 125 A/H but considering the price it has proved to a very good buy.

Was getting good readings from much more expensive testers than this and the company I bought my battery from would not replace the battery although it was constantly failing to start my vehicle. I have now been back and tested the battery in front of them and they have changed the battery. so I have basically got this for free. Watch the video on u tube which shows a test result similar to mine.

Works fine, feels a bit lightweight though so will see how long it lasts. Not a fan of the colour system. I like the font on the screen though.

A brilliant device certainly Thing is, that out of 5 perfectly working batteries in as many cars that have been starting without hesitation throughout the winter this cevice has pronounced four to be working at 60% effeiency ie. needing changed! Dont know what to believe now!! As a testing device its easy to use.

This Solar BA7 battery checker is a bit expensive but worth every penny . It has never lied to me before and is very easy to use . I use it at an auto shop so it has gotten quite a bit of use since I bought it 3 years ago . It's almost as easy to use as the old toaster style load check testers and this tester's CCA readings are just as good for determining battery condition , slightly more complicated but that is what makes it better . Has settings for multiple types of car batteries , comes in handy if you use AGM batteries . It remembers the last battery checked even after removed from power and is se t at those settings which is nice if you have to check the same battery twice , say before and after a charge , settings are right where you left them . Highly recommended for home or shop use . **Update**- After reading another review saying that Midtronics brand checkers are better , I purchased a Midtronics PBT-100 which costs around $130 to compare against the Solar . I checked 2 dozen known bad batteries with various problems and found that both the Solar BA7 and the Midtronics PBT-100 were nearly identical in their readings . The only difference was in one battery , the Midtronics gave a Green/Yellow reading (Good , charge and return to service) and the Solar gave a Red reading (Bad) . I trickle charged the battery for two hours and then checked it again at which point both checkers gave me a Red (Bad) reading . In summary , the Solar checker was correct on all 24 while the Midtronics checker was correct on 23 out of the 24 .

個人がバッテリーの良し悪しの判断が難しく、カーショップに持って行き数値を見せられても信用するしかない。それがこの商品は自分で測定し判断できる。バッテリーが新品の状態で測定しておくと後の測定に比較もできる。自分が使ってみての感想ですが、ちょい乗りの多い車は意外にバッテリーの充電状態はよくないんですね。バッテリーはﾌﾙ充電状態が理想と聞きます。定期的に確認する事で予備充電の必要性も分かります。

Unit is quite a bit more easier to use and perform battery tests than say just a load tester alone can do. Gives usable information in a digital format that tells you more than just a needle on a scale does. Can check battery condition, starter draw, and charging system as well. Very compact. Found instructions be quite comprehend-able and not to bad to follow. They were much easier to follow than the instructions included with the brick type load tester I bought a few weeks ago which were a nightmare to follow. I tested 6 batteries with the BA7 for voltage, CCA, and CA values in the time it took to test 1 battery with the brick tester which you then had to wait about 10 minutes for the unit to cool to test the next battery. Happy with this purchase.

アマゾンUSAとかで若干安く購入することも出来ますが、簡単な日本語説明書と保証付と言うことで、こちらを選択しました。 商品の発送はとても早かったので、直ぐにバッテリーのテストが出来ました。 肝心の作動状態等は問題無し、説明にあった気もするが正確にCCAを計るにはバッテリー単体にしないと誤差がかなり大きくなるので、車載のバッテリーを計測する時はバックアップ電池の用意をおすすめします。

Compact, Somewhat easy to use, a bit flimsy but other than that it's a must have in the tool kit. It seems really strange not having a big heavy Load tester to drag around to check a battery, This one does it much differently via it's onboard computer and it really seems to work. I bought it to check batteries I may buy used around town for whenever, now I know exactly how good they are fast and efficient! I only wish the screen was a bit brighter (hard to read in day light) and I wish the display was a bit better as far as the codes it displays. It's great they included the codes on the back, so no manual to have to keep with it.
