A perfect fix
The new wheels make the door slide like a new door. Well worth the cost and effort to replace the old ones.

World of a difference.
These replacement wheels made a world of a difference on our sliding patio door. It glides so smoothly I can use just 1 finger to move it. Excellent part at a decent price.

Yes, I was able to replace my door rollers and now it is smooth... like butter!
For a year now my sliding glass door has been rough and noisy. We keep oiling it and cleaning the track, but the 25 year old mechanism was just worn out. So I ordered these. Now the door took two people to get out (It's an 8' tall door, so it's heavy) but the instruction videos online for this product make it fairly easy to replace, in theory (see below), and within 20 minutes, I had a silky smooth door. It's a one finger operation now to open and close, so nice... I will add one particular difficulty I had: The way a sliding door is replaced is the rollers are retracted by turning a screw in the roller which allows the door to be lifted and pulled over the bottom track. However, with my door, even without rollers, the door frame is almost exactly the same size as the vertical track clearance and it was nearly impossible to lift the door out: Two strong 6'3" men were required to muscle it out while a third pried the bottom with metal paint scrapers. Now if I had but 1/4" more clearance, it would have been easy. So be aware that clearance for door removal could be a challenge.

Works fine - installation not for the faint-hearted
I had to replace worn rollers on a sliding glass door, but that wasn't the only problem: These doors are very heavy - a 2 person job! Do not let your fingers get under the doors. Use levers and pry bars. The adjustment access holes in the bottom of the door are not necessarily lined up with the rollers themselves, so I had to add/ widen some of the holes so that the roller adjustment screw heads became accessible. The existing door use, over time, had flattened the steel rail it was "gliding" on, so, after the door was removed, I had to pull that out and carefully unsquish it, hammering it open with a big screwdriver, in a vise, so that it returned to the proper uniform V shape it must be. New door rollers wont help if this rail is dislodged of flattened. Getting the door off and then on the track requires some careful use of wooden strips, pry bars and guiding screwdrivers, one corner at a time.

Was an Exact Replacement & Heavy duty as advertised
I had purchased another brand from another site and according to the pic and description should have been a direct replacement, after receiving it I found it was not what was represented in the posted sales view and was for a "French" style sliding door and not my Tuscany series door. I found this new roller on Amazon and ordered a pair. These are identical in size and shape as my original seen w/ the low profile piece on top. I overlayed the 2 and they were physically identical. I installed them and the fit was correct and they work perfectly. The door now slides like a dream.

Great wheels
two screws and a little adjusting, the challenge was getting the milgard sliding door out I thought for sure the plastic would break but it didn't we muscled the door out put the new rollers on and muscled it back on, now the door rolls I have to be careful not to close it on my hand it rolls so fast

Direct Replacement
We have a large 4 foot wide sliding patio door that after 17 years, ground to a halt. These wheels were a perfect replacement and now our heavy patio door glides like new!
