These soft shackles work perfectly. They are light. They store easily in the back compartment of our vehicle. They don't rattle and make noise when stored for travel. They work perfectly in combination with the ratchet straps for securing a small stack of 2x4s, 2x6s, or any load that requires the straps be closely fitting on the utility trailer. Being soft, when the ratchet straps are tightened, the shackles won't mar the wood, and don't need padding to protect the load like when metal shackles are used. Just lay the strap down before stacking the items on the trailer so that the soft shackle can be inserted through a bight on either side of the stack. I had wondered about how secure the stopper knot and loop mechanism would be when under load. No problems. The knot in loop mechanism became more secure as the ratchet straps were tightened. It's too soon to say anything about durability, but our need for them is infrequent, and we are unlikely to use them frequently enough to incur much wear. I recommend these soft shackles for when a load needs to be protected from being marred by a shackle and for having in the boot of the vehicle for 'just in case' situations.

Quality looks great!

I picked these up for my atv emergency kit. They work great for recover or towing. The soft shackle locks in place and the cover saves the material from getting torn up. The heavy weight rating came in handy when my sons Ford F150 was stuck in the mud.

Highly recommend these if you go out to the desert. Make sure you also purchase Conetic rope.

Works as described, easy to use, very strong. I keep it in my truck all the time. I’ll be ordering again to have an extra set in my daughter’s truck. Is very compact so easy to store as well.

Appear to be of excellent quality and good value. Luckily have not had to use them yet :)
