Extreme Duty Contact Cleaner Aeroso

Great product for cleaning gun parts but should be used with their CLP product for parts that should have a thin film of lubrication. Only problem is you lose propellant before fluid is empty.

Shop front gets dusty fast, so I grabbed this Lucas Oil contact cleaner for our card readers and the door keypad. First test was after a soda spill on the POS. I sprayed, wiped, and it cleared the sticky buttons right away. No weird residue, no strong leftover smell. Glad it dries fast during rush hour. 👍

Works great for gun cleaning

Doing small repairs between nap times, I grabbed this for my husband’s tools and our sticky garage door track. He sprays, I wipe right after, and the gunk comes off fast. I like that it dries quick so I’m not waiting around with kids in the driveway. Smell is strong, so we crack the door.

Usually I buy cheaper contact cleaner for the front desk label printer and our card terminal, but it kept leaving residue. I grabbed this Lucas can because a neighbor mechanic swears by it. For electronics and tight spots, it works well. I hit the printer rollers and the card reader chip slot. Both stopped acting up and dried fast with no sticky film. The straw is handy but falls off if I toss the can in a drawer. Smell is stronger than I like in a small lobby, so I crack the door when I spray. Price feels a bit high for what I use it for, but it saves me from calling tech support.

This works well from what I can tell. I've used it on all my firearms, including some with polymer components, and haven't noticed any issues so far. My only note is that you go through it pretty quickly, so I'd recommend picking these up in bulk if you're a regular user. Effective cleaner overall — just plan to stock up.

I still haven't found anything better yet though if anyone has any ideas id love to hear them stuff works ands lubes outside of gun just fine
