The Best Stain Remover. Period. Read And Follow The Directions.
Update: September 9, 2020: Someone got ink on their fingers from a printer and the suggestions on the internet to use hair spray, alcohol, tea tree oil, or shop hand cleaner to remove the ink are a joke...It didn't remove an ounce of the stain. So...I thought why not try Amodex? I let the Amodex soak into the skin for 2 minutes and then gently scrubbed it away with an old toothbrush, and it removed everything! The Amodox is gentle on your skin and has the texture of hand lotion. Amazing! My family has used this many times for many different stains and this is our third time that we have purchased this product. The key in using this stain remover is to follow the directions inside the box, (they are different for different types of stains) and allow the product to remain on the stain for at least 3 hours or more. If you are impatient and you think that the product can remove a stain from something in 5 minutes, IT CAN'T. I feel that some of the reviewers on this product don't allow enough time for this product to work. I didn't either at first. It needs time to remove the stain. I let it set on the stain for 3 hours and came back to it and the stain was gone! I then gently rinsed out the area with water with a clean white towel and patted it dry. It was a little more difficult to remove a stain that was on the vertical portion of my leather inside car door, someone accidentally bumped it with their ball point pen. The stain remover works best on a flat, level surface. After trying this product on a permanent black magic marker, red nail polish, a raspberry stain, a red wine stain on clothes and a pen stain, it has removed every stain from a variety of surfaces including carpet, leather, clothes and vinyl. My latest test was when someone spilled a drop of black wood stain on my pure white carpeting. After following the directions, I was able to remove the black wood stain in about 3 hours. I can't say enough great things about this product; I would buy stock in this company if I could. Remember: Be patient and FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS INSIDE THE BOX and you will be the next person writing a great review on this product. Update 12-15-16: It just took out dark hair dye out of a woman's cotton shirt. I put Saran wrap underneath the stain, so it wouldn't bleed to the other side while it removed the stain. I waited 24 hours and re-applied one more coating, then washed in in Tide with cold water in my washing machine and the stain is gone. This product takes a while (24-48 hours) to do the job, but it never lets me down. Anyone who writes a bad review on this product probably didn't read the directions which state to not wash out the stain with water in advance and never use hair spray on the stain, it only sets the stain more.

OMG, it’s magic.
I am a stain wizard. My second child had reflux with projectile vomiting, so I had no choice. I had to save the baby clothes, the swivel/rocker recliner, sofa, chairs, my clothes, the carpet, etc. A quarter century later, my adult children bring their clothes, asking me to remove stains after their attempts (imaginary or not) had failed. They believe I have “magic potions”because I have always been successful. I believed the products I own, by themselves, or mixed together in specific portions as pastes, creams, or liquids, could remove any stain. I was the Stain Queen according to my family, and I thought I deserved that title. Oh how far the mighty shall fall from their pedestals. Last month I found a cotton muslin vegetable bag in the refrigerator’s crisper drawer. It had molded and mildewed jalapenos inside. I had simply forgotten they were there. (Please say I am not the only one this happens to.) No matter what I tried - and I pulled out all my tricks and “potions” - I still had one dime-sized spot that would not come out. I am OCD, so that wasn’t going to fly in my house within my lifetime. I researched and decided on Amodex. I had used a sample previously on an ink stain just to see if it worked, but it was too expensive in those days. I air-dried the bag after each failed attempt because that would have set the stain, but I knew each time I used a product or paste, it would be even harder for the next treatment to work. I said a prayer, applied one drop of Amodex, and rubbed it over the whole stain with a brush. I could still see the stain, although it was lighter. The Amodex was working. I applied a little more, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then threw it in the wash with the other whites. Feeling defeated once again, I, honest to God, believed I was going to have to research more stain removal products. I was surprised and thrilled when it came out of the wash gloriously clean. (I may have even emitted a loud “YES!” as I pulled my right fist and arm towards my body in the common sign for victory.) It is worth every penny! I was so happy, I bought a bottle for the DIL who married that now grown second child. He still stains every shirt he owns, but she has the magic potion now and so do I.

It Works!
This was recommended for cleaning handbag linings, particularly with ink stains. Although skeptical, I tried it and have been very pleased with the results! Read the instructions for the best outcome. It did remove ink and food stains, and was easy to use. Highly recommend!

A worthwhile product for your stain-removal toolkit
This product should be in your arsenal of stain-removing products. I bought this attempting to remove what was "color run" paint off of a beige colored cotton t-shirt for my son. While it did not fully remove the blueish stain, it did however fade to a point that it is not as noticeable. Work a try as Shout and Spray&Wash failed to work in my case.

I tried this product to remove ink stain , all it did was to smudge the ink further and make it more ugly Completely ineffective

Someone swiped a blob of blue ink on my white wool coat. I checked around for dry cleaners and they all said they wouldn’t guarantee results and the quotes were as much or more than I paid for the coat. I was so upset I bundled it up, put it out of my mind, and forgot about it for a few months. I came across Amodex and figured what the heck - I can’t wear the coat as is, so if I have to throw it out in the end , oh well I tried. I followed the directions, using a toothbrush to scrub the stain, then let it sit for about 30 minutes then threw it in the delicate cycle of the washing machine with gentle detergent. It came out with no trace of the ink at all! GONE! And the coat looks like new. 10/10 would recommend!
