Ok, I’ve been clipping my dogs hair for approximately 28 years now. I started out with a peek-a-poo & now have a toy poodle. Both of these dog breeds require regular shaving/clipping. I’ve tried professional groomers but they’re costly, inconvenient & not always trustworthy. Also, why put your precious dog through the unnecessary stress? I recently purchased a cheaper customer top rated dog trimmer & really hated it. It was horrible on me & my dog as it was tugging, catching & not shaving her hair evenly. One try from these clippers & I was so excited with how quiet, evenly & fast I was able to shave my dogs hair. Bonus, these clippers are very lightweight while having a softer hand feel on my older crippling hands. Where have this great clippers been all my & my dogs life?! I can’t recommend these great dog clippers enough! My poodle recommends them highly too :). Don’t hesitate, you’l be as excited with this purchase as I am!!!

These clippers are great for working on smaller details and are awesome for an at-home solution for people who have a little bit of experience and would rather tidy up their dogs at home. It's quiet and convenient. I personally use the ceramic blade for paw trims and sanitary trims and the guarded blade for larger areas like cleaning up my dog's legs. We also use these at work for 'mini grooms' (cleaning up those smaller areas), though not for larger-scale appointmentsWhy 4 stars instead of 5: I would very much like to be able to buy the short ceramic blade as it's own entity or for kits to be sold with two blades included. 1- these blades do get warm if running for an extended period of time, so being able to swap the blades out would be a huge convenience. (Plus, I can swap a dirty one out for a clean one and then clean the blade at the end of the job, rather than pausing to clean before continuing use). 2- should anything happen to the blade, right now the only option is to buy an entire new kit. I'd much rather continue to use this set, but down the road the convenience factor of being able to replace blades might lead to a switch in brands.

I have two Labradoodles each has different hair textures. This clipper cut through both of their textures with ease.

Ordered this to help avoid clipper burn in surgery patients at my animal hospital. It is very quiet and worked great for a few months. Unfortunately I haven’t found any way to order blade replacements on it so it is now out of service

I bought them because all the other clippers I ever bought had plastic clipper part on them and they would always get stuck in my dogs fur so that’s why I like the metal ones

Not enough power, batteries don’t last and the blades have plastic teeth

These trimmers work extremely well! We have a Yorkiepom with very thick hair that constantly clogged our old trimmers, and these cut right through. We had an expensive name brand trimmer prior to this one, and this worked so much better. Would highly recommend these trimmers!

These cut our dog’s thick hair very smoothly without scalping our dog. They aren’t very powerful which means I had to go slowly.
