Excellent quality scissors for a fair price
I'm a fairly large guy, and I find it pleasant to use these nicely chunky scissors. I've been using them for splicing work with Dyneema synthetic rope, and the cuts are precise, clean and easy. (Anyone who's ever worked with Dyneema or similar lines will know that the individual strands are incredibly fine and very slippery, which makes cutting them with a blade challenging, while cutting with ordinary scissors is extremely difficult and the cut ends up an untidy, fuzzy mess.)I haven't had these for long, so I can't speak to their durability or how long they will maintain sharpness, but both the serrated and straight cutting edges feel very sharp, so I suspect they'll remain usable for some time. I also like the fact that these scissors are about half the price of similar ones sold by brand that's well-known in the field of ropework.

Versatile utility scissors that should be in every EDC kit.
These utility scissors are now part of my EDC kit. They are supremely sharp, but have nice large handles making them easy to use, but sturdy in the materials I can cut with them. The sharp blades also provide excellent accuracy in cutting. They provide excellent value for money given their versatility.

Good purchase.
Very nice. Great quality.
User
Great for dyneema
Use then for cutting dyneema and other tough ropes. Work great for this! Can take a few goes on ropes 7mm up, but this is to be expected for small scissors.

Awesome addition to your compact toolkit
High quality and very strong, as seen on YouTube by EDC enthusiasts. This is a well made pair of scissors that cope with most cutting tasks. They are compact and easily fit most storage solutions.

Great value, cuts brilliantly.
I brought these to cut braid on braid mooring ropes and they are fantastic!! They cut exponentially well with a very satisfying noise. It's a shame they don't come with a sheath or protector but they are extremely sharp and comfortable to hold so wouldn't hesitate in purchasing another pair if needed.

Awesome.
Amazing scissors. If you are cutting synthetic rope, these are a must have. I was shocked at how well they worked.

Fantastic shears
I've purchased these shears multiple times. I have red and a blue handled version which are both branded other manufacturers but are seemingly made in the same factory. As a low voltage technician, I dull many pairs of snips a year cutting and stripping various wire. These are properly hardened and sharpened unlike the ubiquitous free-fall snip most techs get a home depot. On copper wire, you likely wont dull this tool at all, but inevitably you'll end up cutting some shielded wire, T-grid, or other whathaveyous. When they are sharp they work great on fiber optic (as designed) but obviously bind up in weaves/string within cables when dull.I collect pocket knives and can say I have successfully sharpened a pair once or twice. One "blade" has very fine serrations to grip the cable, so you cannot sharpen it without removing those first. It's usually enough to just smooth out it's back side and sharpen the non-serrated blade. After a few sharpenings you may ruin the curve in the blade - scissors and shears have the blades bent inwards toward each other to maintain a pinch point. The screw that holds them together is easy to adjust, and the nut you see on the back side prevents your adjustment from changing. These will rust. They seem to be made with a good quality and affordable carbon steel, which is just not going to have chemical protection. If you're keeping them in a fiber kit to remain sharp just throw some lightweight oil on them from time to time.

Mycket fin finish, känns kraftfull, klipper paracord som en dröm. Jag har än så länge inte klippt något tuffare än paracord.
