Easy to use
Fixed several spots on the couch with this kit. Was able to match the blue green color well.

Not for non-artistic sort
Very difficult for a non-artsy person to match colors! I’d even go so far as to say impossible! Very difficult to seal up a split in Naugahyde at all, let alone having it not be noticeable!! It started out as a fairly straight split right where your head rests. I approximated the edges together the best I could w/ glue and paint. I couldn’t fit the cloth underneath the surface because the backing was intact. I was afraid to cut it to get under there, for fear of making it worse. My repair never did look decent and then a week later a big hunk of the Naugahyde fell off the edge I repaired. I think I’m going to just put a piece of tape over it until the whole chair is bad enough to replace the whole thing. I didn’t take “before” pictures but I’ll try to put after pics in here to see if you can tell what I’m talking about. The chair isn’t that old, but I didn’t know you were supposed to lightly wipe Naugahyde w/ linseed oil routinely overtime and this chair does get direct afternoon sunlight daily. Very disappointed with the product, they made it sound so easy (in my naïveté). The instructions were extremely tiny even w/ a magnifying glass I had trouble reading it but it didn’t matter, because there were very very few instructions to read! The paints came in two separate bags, as if there was a difference between the two sets, but I couldn’t figure out what that difference was! They didn’t say when to use the cloth material, if I should have cut through the backing of the chair to insert theirs in order to get glue to adhere better? I assume the instructions, such as they were, were written by non-English speaking persons or AI, because words were didn’t make sense in sentences. I felt like I was on my own to figure it out! Waste of money!

Great set for touching up and repairing you interior.
This product does work. You just need to take you time when mixing colors and remember a wet color always dries a bit darker than it looks when applied so try to go a shade or two lighter. Also apply multiple light even coats not one heavy coat for the best finish and have denatured alcohol on hand to clean up any mistakes, over paint, or messes. Thoroughly clean all surfaces before applying. A finish is only as good as the prep and cleanup work that you do. Give it 48 hours to fully cure and then condition the surface with a good product like Meguiars (never ever use Armor All).

Works really well!
Hard to see in the picture, but the whole seam was ripped bad. We didn't want to get a new chair since we don't use it often, but thought there was no way it would be saved. A few coats of this and you can barely tell unless you knew what happened. Really easy to use too.
