Didn't know it would work THAT well!
So when I bought this, the back of my neck was covered with dense, thick scaling from scalp psoriasis. It freaked me out a bit, so I put it on earlier today.5 hours later I showered and the ointment stripped my neck clean of them. It's almost like the ointment ate it or something!The photo I'm showing may look alarming, but rest assured that this is normal when scales are stripped like that. The skin will be raw, but it is safer for both your scalp and hair than scratching it off. I have never used a treatment that did such a good job of it...That said, I recommend starting with a shorter timeframe than basic instructions suggest. Next time I'll make it sit for about 2 hours because this may have been a bit strong. Also, If it already stripped the scales you should give your scalp a rest from it. This is something you only use as needed, not a routine maintenance product...but hey, that means you have to buy it less often, right?

Randomly started getting flaky scalp all over. Tried lots of oils and ointments that didn't work.Spoke to my good friend who's a GP one evening and she recommend I try this as she's done in the past.Fantastic. Works a dream! No more flakes. It is a little pricey, but I'm willing to pay as it's effective after 1 treatment

Product was as I remembered it. It takes a few weeks to see progress, it is twice a week washing though, so depending on your hair type, you may need a few tubes.Only to be used with a diagnosis of conditions mentioned on the tube.

This works!
Very effective treatment for psoriasis/scaly scalp. Ointment is applied and left for one hour before shampooing off. Improvement evident from the very first application. Purchasers should be aware that the compound smells strongly of coal tar (thankfully it wasn't me who was using it!). Also, as the tube has a shelf-life of only 4 weeks, there will probably be significant wastage.
