Clic Base Tortoishell Magnetic Connection Readers -Strength +2.00

Bought these for hubby as he'd previously had a pair of cheap magnetic readers which proved to be a poor buy as the magnets kept falling out and which broke pretty quickly. Hubby is very happy with these and he feels that these are the real deal, solidly made, strong magnets which are properly fitted and work very effectively, comfortable to wear and lenses very good, real for use at work and home. Unless you misplace, lose or break glasses frequently I'd suggest paying that bit more and getting genuine Clic brand magnetic readers.

Great glasses. Unfortunately I requested 2.50 strength and have been given 1.50. Says item is not returnable so feeling very disappointed.

A great idea but the specs slip down my nose! There should be a way to grip them on the ears.

An expensive product but the best I've found if you want this type of reading glass. I did have to glue the little magnet into the frame as it comes out, but apart from that they are a great product.

They are not as good as the the my last pair. I suppose it coud be that my eyes are are not so good either.

Don't use it with a hand-held compass in yachting, otherwise just great !

Upside: Having upgraded from standard issue off the shelf glasses from Sainsburys/ boots etc., I have found a real difference in lens quality. Both clarity and depth of field have improved makedly. Ironically, this means I have to take the glasses off less frequently. When taking them off, I now always know where they are.Only downside is that it requires both hands to clip them together at the front. When out and juggling stuff - shopping, dog lead etc. -- in the street, this makes them slightly awkward to put on.
