While the item does not have a mfg-country printed thereon, I seem to recall the invoice stated "China" was the country of origin.

My scraper is beginning to darken after about 6 months of use. is this normal? do i need to soak/clean it? if so, what is recommended maintenance?

One effective way to clean it -is to use a SOS pad . Soak it in hot water for 1-2 minutes first, then take it out and scrub it with the pad.

Could you straighten this scraper out at the bend?
