Exactly what was needed to repair garage door inside lock.
Ideal to repair an extinct party on the inside of the garage door. Had to adapt it slightly which I was aware would be the case. Ideal good quality, would buy again.

Not quite as shown in photo
This fits on the inside of the garage door to allow the outside handle to push the locking rods into the door frame to secure it. The version I received was slightly different from the picture in that it had an eight-pointed star hole in the middle rather than the square hole shown. This allows the swivel to be fitted in more positions so that the most suitable relationship between the handle and the locking bars can be selected. Also, the swivel came fitted with a slotted pan head screw rather than a grub screw that some reviewers have mentioned. These features made it easy to fit. The holes for the bushes to attach the locking bars to the swivel were somewhat bigger than necessary which gave some slack in operation but this was not a problem.

Good, but how to check if it's the' wrong type'!
I bought this without realising that the square hole in the middle can be angled in one of two ways, as made.Look at your existing locking bar. If the hole's sides run parallel to the bar, then all is well. If, like mine, the hole looks more angled, (diamond 'look') then this probably cant be used.The item itself seems good and strong, but you will need a small Allen key, not supplied.

Excellent product
This is excellent, fits a 15mm square shaft, and was so easy to fit onto the garage door lock. The original plastic item snapped when the kids swung on the locking mechanism and snapped it! This secured our garage again, and it’s so well constructed, I don’t think we will have any issues again.

Economical handle for a cheap cross slide vice
Not the intended application, but the 8mm square hole makes it a very acceptable & economical replacement handle for the plastic one originally supplied with my cheap cross slide vice :-)
