I'll get it out of the way and say that this is an amazing product for someone like me. It's great for making space and organising your desk. The multi-level compartments makes it possible to store small keyboards, notebooks, mouse etc. Anything that isn't really heavy can be stored on it without any issue. I had no issue building it, it looks good and matches my desk aesthetic, and functions the way I EXPECTED it to function. Now with that out of the way, I expected this product to not be of "amazing" quality. Based on the pictures I already expected the item to be lightweight and flimsy. I already expected the materials to not be solid wood etc. This meant that I had already plans on how to fix some of these issues should I encounter them. Therefore, I can definitely see the concerns why it wouldn't be a good product for someone else. It doesn't come with instructions on how to build it so if you're not that good at building things without instructions then you might get frustrated. This was okay for me as it's a small product with not much complicated parts. The back mesh panel of this item did come a bit bent as the item in itself is malleable and can be bent with not much force which I expected. But I can see some concerns where some of the parts of this product may arrive bent and the assembly will be more difficulty or that it wouldn't function properly. A small piece of the paint chipped off on one of the supporting rods before I even got it out of the packaging and I can see that the paint on it isn't that high quality, however this isn't really a problem for me because I just turned the rod in a way that you can't see the paint damage. The wooden slates doesn't seem to be completely made of solid wood, it's like the ones from IKEA if you're familiar with it, therefore if you store heavy items on it, it may dip and deform overtime. Finally, because of how light it is, if you don't have anything on it which have a bit of weight, opening the drawer at the bottom will cause the entire product to move towards you as you're pulling the drawer. I have a few items on it with a bit of weight to anchor it in place, so it doesn't move at all when I open the drawer at the bottom. So if those are problems for you, then I would suggest buying a more durable item. But for me this item is a 5/5 as it's doing everything I expected it to do and I'm not too fussy about small imperfections. Also do note that some of the issues like parts arriving bent may not happen to you. It depends how the delivery drivers handle these packages but this item is more likely to be damaged through handling and delivery due to the material. But if it arrives in the condition it is meant to arive in, this item is excellent in my opinion.

You are considering this product because it's not as expensive as others that look nice, right? Well, that cost-saving comes at a price. It's not real wood, and it requires knowing how to use a screwdriver. To some, that seems to be an outrage. For me, it was a good exchange. And two minutes after my organizer arrived (which was a day after I ordered it), it was working perfectly for me. Is it handcrafted? - no. Does it feel executive? - no. Is it worth the money?" - yes Does it do its job? - Yes Does it look nice? - Yes. Would I recommend it? - Yes I also recommend reading the other reviews, as they are hysterical. The woman who ranted for a page is the best one. The silver lining is that she got a free screwdriver. Someone else complains that there are no assembly instructions. Oh, boy. In a nanny state, if we get bent out of shape about not knowing how to assemble a £20 desk organizer, perhaps we didn't play with Lego enough as children. This product does not deserve the criticism it has received. Somewhere, someone sourced the metal and the wood, designed it, manufactured it, marketed it, and shipped it to your door in 24 hours, charging you the same as a gin and tonic in a London bar for their time and resources. If that's not quite enough to satisfy you, do you think a hand-carved desk organizer, pre-made and placed on your desk, will solve your problems? no. This organizer is perfect, was a great price, does the job, and will allow me to get on with my day. I'm a happy customer.

Perfect item for storing all my little loose items on my desk . It was easy to assemble. It’s sturdy and good quality for the money.

Fits nicely on the desk - with the bottom tray removed it fits perfect over my socket on the desk and hides it out the way - nice that the trays do slide open to make it easier to put paper docs away to store

Total waste of money. Wood effect shelves were chipped on corners and also warped. One of the connecting rods had a stripped thread. Metal mesh panels were also warped. Once assembled, the product didn't sit flat on my desk. Returned within 24hrs of receipt. Even if the defects mentioned were not present, this item is not worth anywhere near the price paid. I'd say around £5 max and then you'd de getting what you paid for.

Nice organiser but the back wood part is too big so it sticks up at the back can’t push it all the way down

Had to order this item twice because the first one I received was damaged, but now that I have one that is not damaged I think it's a great product. Easy to put together although it was a challenge to put the wooden shelves in as two out of three didn't fit in without fiddling with the screws but I have managed it and the unit looks fab on my desk and I particularly like the bottom drawer as I can put in all sorts of random bits from my desk and it doesn't look messy. Very happy with this.
