First time using this seems to help

I normally do not leave reviews but this stuff is the real deal. I used to have to clean my glass doors and thermometer about every two weeks. I started using this at the beginning of the burning season (2 capfuls every other fire) and have not had to clean the doors and only cleaned the thermometer once. The chimney looks clear and shiny half way thru the season. Looking forward to a clean chimney sweep in the spring!! Highly recommend this product.

Cleans wood stove and chimney well

tried this at recommendation of friend. used as directed in our wood stove all winter. could not really see any benefit in stove pipes or chimney. maybe a little less build up but not a huge difference. yes i only burn well seasoned wood

Every time I opened the door to my wood burning stove, a huge cloud of smoke was released, setting off my fire alarm. So it was obvious that the stove pipes needed cleaning. I ordered this product, followed directions and applied the product several times, and on the second day, less smoke was released, and on the third day, I could open the door to the stove as often as I needed and absolutely no smoke. I fully intend to do a full cleaning of the stove pipes, but I haven’t yet, and every time I light a fire, whenever I need to open the door to add wood, or stoke the fire, no smoke. So if you’re having a problem with excess smoke from your fireplace (or wood burning stove) this product is the answer to that problem. Just be sure to follow directions, and of course, clean the pipes. This product is advertised as better than those logs that are supposed to clean the pipes, and that claim is not an exaggeration. Bottom line… I don’t normally write reviews… after all, no one pays me to do that, but with this product, I’m more than happy to enthusiastically recommend it.

wasn't sure if it was going to work, i had some old seasoned oak that was just split and i wanted to burn right away. it usually takes about a month after i open it up to get rid of last bit of moisture. added this chimney stayed clean.

I bought this to throw in my Fireplace Insert during the winter. I use it a lot when the weather is cold and I did not want a chimney fire so I went with this product. I feel safer having thrown this in while I’m burning the fire. It was very easy to use. I did notice a slight smell when I threw it in the fire, but it did not smell bad. It’s a time saver rather than getting a chimney sweep out.

I don't know how or why this stuff works but I know that it does. I can tell because before I used it, I often needed to clean the glass on my wood burning stoves door. Since I started using this cleaner and I haven't had to clean the glass at all! My chimney didn't even need to be cleaned after using this - I went through the process but nothing came out. It's really easy to use though I don't get around to using it as often as it recommends on the label.

So I purchased this because my chimney was getting full of soot. Been using it for about a month (getting close to spring) to help make chimney cleaning easier. We'll this stuff works good. The creosil build up loosened up and much fell to bottom of chimney, this almost caused a fire. Luckily I noticed the pipe exiting the furnace getting hot and was able to shut down the air flow (damper). No damage and almost all clean up the chimney. Wish I used this from the start of the year. Wood furnace burns well and keeps heat going a long time, but with not completely dry wood (only a year drying) it needs this amazing product to keep creosil in check. I highly recommend to anyone burning wood for heat in the winter to use this. Saves on the amount of time needed to clean chimney every year which you still need to do.

This stuff works when you use it right. We just went to do our schedule cleaning and there was almost nothing in the flute. Absolutely amazing.
