Works Great on Induction Stove!
I wanted to be sure to come back and write a review for this because I spent a very long time searching for a griddle that would work on the bridge element of my GE Cafe Induction Range that didnโt have any kind of chemical nonstick coating. It wasnโt an easy thing to find. Most cast iron griddles have an uneven bottom that wouldnโt make contact with the induction surface. When I found this flat one I assumed it would work but was hesitant to purchase because it doesnโt say itโs induction compatible and the reviews on it were pretty mixed. I finally decided it was worth a shot and Iโm SO glad I did despite the reviews! It has quickly become my most used pan. Weโve used it pretty much daily for the last 2 months since purchasing it. For the first several uses I added a good bit of extra oil to get it good and seasoned and now itโs perfect! Itโs basically non-stick at this point. Itโs super easy to clean. I typically donโt wash it, just scrape it clean and wipe it with a rag. I havenโt had any issues with warping like some other reviewers have mentioned but I also donโt ever really need to heat it on high. Iโm not sure if that has anything to do with it. One thing that probably bears mentioning is that the cooking surface doesnโt heat evenly throughout, but in my experience thatโs just the nature of cooking with a griddle, not a flaw in this specific one. Iโve seen several reviews that complain about uneven heat, but I believe the hottest areas will always be the areas over the actual heating elements (whether that be induction, electric, or a flame) and the rest will not be as hot. Just bear this in mind while cooking and you shouldnโt have any issues. I couldnโt be happier with this purchase! Highly recommend if your searching for an induction-compatible griddle!

Super nice pan
Weโve used this pin on multiple occasions most recently for baking pizza and we love it. Itโs easy to clean and works very good.

Does not stick
Worth its weight in gold. Family of 6 here this is used daily. Eggs, bacon, home fries, grilled cheese.

Not as impressive as other Lodge cookware
This doesn't live up to the rest of the Lodge cookware I own. It's certainly not flat and the initial surface is way rougher than other items I've gotten from them. On the plus side, it's thin, so it's light and was able to be bent back to being almost completely flat (using some ingenuity and a heavy duty vise. We'll use it on an induction stovetop, so flatness matters, but for a grill or camping it wouldn't matter much. I think now that it's flat it'll work okay, but it may warp back. Time will tell.

Not flat. Arrived bowed
This product is good to use on electric glass top surface? Nope! Fresh out of the box it spins on a flat surface. Bowed in the middle even before applying heat. Terrible!

Not flat! Wabbles on a flat induction cooktop.
This is not recommended for flat top induction cooktops. Mine arrived and it was warped in the center. It doesn't sit flat. If you have a glass cooktop you'll probably be fine.

Great camping and at home
I got this for cooking on my 3 burner Coleman camp stove. I was able to cook breakfast for 6 easily, and still had a burner free for boiling water. It didn't heat quite as even as my cast iron, but it's much easier to wash and handle, plus less issues with rust, so it's a fair trade off. I also used it at home on my bridge burner to crank out tortillas, and it worked well on my glass top. Very happy with this, exactly what I was looking for!

Griddle warps when heated
I purchased the Lodge double griddle because I have faith in the company. I have five pans from Lodge, some Iโve had for over 40 years. The panโs performance is excellent. I recently converted from a gas stove to induction which I love. Because my old Lodge double griddle wonโt work because of the grill pattern on the back, I purchased a new double griddle. I am very disappointed in the quality of this griddle. At first it lay flat on the stove but upon heating, it warped and began rocking on the stove. Induction doesnโt work unless the cookware sits flat on the stove. This pan is too thin for its surface area. Unfortunately I didnโt cook on it until the window to return it closed so I am stuck with a pan that doesnโt perform on an induction stove. It would be fine for a stove with burners but will not work on any stove with a flat cooking area.

A great griddle pan for home use too
This pan fits our 6-top gas range perfectly and is much easier to work with than the heavier cast iron griddles I've owned in the past. The pan holds heat well enough to make proper smash burgers and it's non-stick enough that cooking eggs or fish works without issue, with a bit of care. The handles are a great addition for moving the pan out of the way for washing or cooling off. The pan cleans up easily given the tall lip and handles. I generally add water and bring it to a boil to lightly scrape off the stuck bits. With a light wipe in the sink when it cools down to remove any extra bits, I let it dry off and give it a light coating of oil with a clean cloth. If you find it loses its coating, you can add it back with the same basic process as a cast iron pan, though I haven't had to do that yet (I avoid acidic foods, and clean it carefully). This pan would also be great for camping (though this one is not leaving my kitchen any time soon).

A must if you own bridgeable induction cooktop
Nice build and welds, nice finish, sits entirely and directly on the glass surface of my induction cooktop for optimal performance, unlike reversible plates that use a small rim to retain liquids on both sides, thus creating a gap with the cooktop. Meats sizzles as it should and I can make 6 small pancakes at a time so I'm a happy camper!

Cooking surface should be smooth
Pros: good handles; no channels to have to scrape fat out of; not terrible heavy; decent size. Cons: the cooking surface is quite rough, which means things are more likely to get caught in the roughness, and then it's harder to clean. It's seasoned and I'll keep it seasoned so it'll be okaaaay, but why not make the surface smooth? Very strange.
