Fiebing's Leather Company Fiebing's Leather Balm w/ Atom Wax

I use this on an almost daily bases to seal the veg tan leather I dye. Comes out looking very professional.

Easy to use and a little goes a long way so makes excellent value for money

This well tried and trusted leather balm is a great finish for coloured and freshly dyed leather. Easily applied, the balm is absorbed and allowed to dry before buffing it off with a soft cloth which then leaves a beautiful satin lustre. Highly recommended.

This is a nice finish, it doesn't totally block it out like resoline and other harder products, I would say it is more like a carnuba wax but not waxy, it leaves a bit of residue which you are suppose to rub off with a cloth. I have used it for wallets. I have found the key to getting a good finish was to used a tshirt dipped in with my finger and then gently rub it on the item, don't create bubbles or rub to much as it did create swirls on an antique finished item once but that was before I used this approach.

Just like all Fiebings products I've used this is great! It leaves a beautiful soft luster on leather. If you're looking for a hard gloss shine, use polish. This gives the soft shine that makes leather have that warm glow. Definitely does what it says.

I had seen recommendations for this Leather Balm with atom wax as I was researching what to use on finished leather projects. Since I was just starting out working with leather, I just needed something that was easy to use, and this has been my go-to item since. It cleans the leather, as well as giving it some protection. It gives some water resistance, although it is not a waterPROOF agent. I'm still on the same bottle after making at least 20 or more wallets. I will continue using this for all leathercrafts that don't need waterproofing finishes.

Gives a nice dark color and a satin shine while staying soft and flexible. NOT a sealer so won't prevent dye rub off or staining.

Man, this stuff is great for restoring anything leather. I used it on my late father's leather WWII Bomber Jacket and it brought it back to life ! It's pricey but we'll worth it......

Works as described, just has an odor to it, and after a while the wax starts to look like fungus, it darkens and become opaque, so it has to be buffed again, not sure if this happens continously or just once but over all this balm provides adequate polish and a mild shine to leather, would recommend
