This works - It is amazing.
I bought this to have my own internet connection for photography work. Upon receipt and the installation of a SIM, a simple set up (plug it onto your computer via USB and away you go), it fired up and was ready to rock. It works well, even when my phone didn't and today, it has travelled from London to Newcastle on a train and it has been amazing. I would recommend this and my partner (who runs her own business), is going to get one based on todays experiment.

Would not buy again
The battery life stated is definitely farfetched. A fully charged device operates for only about 5 hours instead of 10 hours. Since I purchased this product mainly for portable purposes, I am quite disappointed. It does take quite long to turn on, and if I understand correctly, it's not possible to use the wi-fi when it's plugged in to the computer? Other than that, it's a very lightweight device with a smooth design, although having to remove the battery every time you need to reach the SIM card is a bit unpractical. The user interface is decent enough I suppose. I was also hoping that it would boost the signal strength or increase the download speed, but it's just as bad as when I use my phone as a hotspot (I live in rural Ireland and the reception is quite poor).

Broken after 3 days of use
This was a pain to set up on EE, the GUI kept saying the device was disconnected from the EE network but it was actually connected. After you learn to ignore the disconnected error the device worked well - for 3 days and then it died. I am trying to get a replacement from Amazon and that is painful
