Legit. This case went to burning man 2015 with me and during four days of nonstop, white-out dust storms, my phone was completely unscathed.

Pretty good, protective case. Works well
I bought two of these for a recent trip to a resort where we would be swimming a lot. I attached lanyards to the cases so they could be worn around our necks. The first time they were used, both my daughter and I took them into the pool with us. This was a lazy river type pool, ranging in depth from 2.5' to 4'. As I stated we wore them around our necks but were kind of careful to keep them out of the water as much as possible but allowed them to dangle in the water a few times for a few, brief plunges. Since the water wasn't deep, we carried them most of the time but did submerge them frequently as we swam. They were never submerged for more than a few minutes at a time. The phones fared just fine and never got wet.One disadvantage is that it is slightly difficult to use the touch screen. Not impossible but not quite as easy as it would be without the case. I figure that's to be expected though as there's another layer between the finger and the screen and our fingers were wet so there wasn't as much heat transference as there would have been with dry fingers. I tried this later with a perfectly dry case and dry fingers and it worked just fine. You really can't expect it to work better than that under those conditions. I did not use the included headphone jack at that time.I was able to fit my iPhone 6 in the case with a protective case on it. It's not a large protective case, just a thin, clear, rubberized plastic case.Later my daughter used one of the cases with the headphone jack and she noticed that her phone was not playing music. She took it out of the case and the phone was slightly wet. She dried it off, turned it off and let it dry more thoroughly. The phone started working just fine later. I don't recommend using the jack if you're planning to submerge the case.My other daughter also used one of the cases and I'm not sure if she didn't get it sealed enough or if there was a malfunction but she also noticed that she was having some trouble with her phone. She did not have the phone jack attached at the time. She immediately took her phone out of the case, dried it off and turned it off. Again, when she turned her phone on later, it worked just fine. After that I was concerned that the case had developed a leak so I tested both cases in a sink full of water with paper towels inside. Neither of them leaked so I'm assuming my daughter may not have had the case sealed completely. While testing this case in a sink full of water, I was able to make it float if there was enough air in it. At the time I only had some paper towels inside to test it. I'm not sure if it would float with the heaviness of a phone in it though. Perhaps if you were able to get enough air in it, it would but that would make it more difficult to use the buttons and touch screen.Photos taken with the phone while in the case come out with slightly less detail. It's not a game changer. The photo's are still good but keep in mind that you're taking a picture through an additional layer. A professional photographer would likely not be satisfied with the quality but then again they would not be using a phone camera inside a case. All in all this is an excellent case that offers better than normal protection all kinds of conditions. It is not perfect nor did I expect it to be. Water has a tendency to seep into the tiniest of openings and it's important to keep that in mind when using any waterproof case. It's nearly impossible to completely eliminate all leaks, but this does a pretty good job of it. If you take this into a pool, keep an eye on it and check frequently for leaks, don't expect it to exceed more than the recommended time and or depth.
