The Soap Your Skin Needs
Do not fall asleep on this soap! The smell may take some getting used to (not in a bad way), but pair it with a soap net and not only does it lather nicely, but with the 20% laurel oil, your skin will feel insanely soft and I’m not exaggerating here. Just for clarification, the ingredients consist of pure extra (virgin) olive oil, olive tree leaf, laurel oil, and alkalies. It is Turkish made, but it does come with an Arabic stamp and depending on the packaging, don’t let it fool you since that is why they say don’t judge a book by its cover. Forget Dial (literal trash), forget Dove (not real soap), forget Native, forget Lush and its perfume bricks, forget all that. This may be the only soap you’ll ever use in your entire life and it should be because you get a lot for the price, the quality is amazing, excellent for sensitive skin, it will definitely leave you feeling clean, it would not surprise me if it lasts a long time, and your skin will thank you! By the way, for those not familiar with Aleppo soap, the green in the inside is not mold, but the laurel oil itself. It’s perfectly normal and so is the smell.

A Truly Authentic Aleppo Soap
The JUSIZA Aleppo Soap stands out as one of the most gentle and nourishing soaps I’ve used. Made with 20% laurel oil and 80% olive oil, it produces a creamy, mild lather that cleans effectively without stripping the skin’s natural moisture. It works wonderfully for both face and body, leaving the skin soft and hydrated with no tightness afterward. Its soothing formula makes it especially suitable for dry or sensitive skin types. The traditional production method gives the soap a subtle, earthy scent and a solid, handcrafted feel. The generous 7 oz bar lasts a long time, making it not only high quality but also cost-effective. For anyone looking for a natural, traditionally made Aleppo soap with a luxurious yet gentle touch, this is an excellent choice.

Natural soap works great!
I tried this soap yesterday for the first time and it worked great! It arrived just as the photos and it has a very light, earthy, and natural smell that I really like. After I used the soap and let my skin dry it felt so soft and moisturized. The soap doesn't have much of a lather on skin but it had a nice lather when I used it on my hair. I was a little worried to use this on my curly hair without any curling products because I thought it would leave my hair really frizzy but when I used it I put a little jojoba oil and let dry and it left my hair really soft and curly without much frizz! I am very happy that I have found a natural soap without any fragrances or additives that provides great benefits for my skin and hair. The product is made in Turkey and is 100% authentic. I highly recommend for people who want to switch to a more natural route when it comes to hygiene.

How are there people who enjoy this?
I don't understand why there are reviews praising the smell of this soap or saying it left their skin feeling soft and hydrated. I really wanted to like this soap and was looking forward to it being delivered. I've never tried soap of this kind before. And, after hearing so many good things about it and considering the natural ingredients, I wanted it to be my new favorite thing. But when it arrived and I opened the box, I was hit with an awful smell of petroleum mixed with... I don't know what. It's just really hard to imagine anyone would want their body smelling like this. I hoped that maybe it would become more "mild" and "pleasant" (as other reviews describe it) after getting it wet and lathering it up. So I tried taking a shower with it. I'll admit it didn't seem to be as strong in the shower. But I don't know if that's just because my nose had gotten used to it. But the actual scent itself remained just as unpleasant. And later on, when I was going about my day, I would sometimes catch a slight whiff of the now very familiar smell and knew it was me. I smelled like this horrible bar of soap! As I mentioned, I also don't understand the people who say it leaves their skin feeling soft and moisturized. Almost immediately as I was finishing up my shower with it, my skin was feeling tight. And it didn't become soft after drying off either. The only thing that helped my skin feel moisturized was, well, putting moisturizer on it; not using this soap! I feel bad leaving this review because, like I said, I really wanted to enjoy using this soap. I keep hoping (for other customers' sake) that I just got a bad batch of it or something. But since I've never used it before, or any soap of this type from any other soap makers, I have nothing to compare this experience to. I just feel foolish for spending money on this. I'm not going to use it. But it's also such a big bar of soap that I feel horrible about throwing it away. It seems like such a waste. But it's going in the trash. And from now on I think I'll only be buying things like this if I can see (smell) it in person and make sure I'll enjoy using it. Ugh! I feel awful about making such a dumb mistake.

Cleans well, smells amazing, worth trying out
Our family used to use these when I was young and we sorta switched to generic soaps in the market for some reason. Hence I thought it might be better to use these or see how they are. It looks good and smells incredible—love the smell, similar to what I used in past but can’t be sure about the authenticity. Asked my mom and she said it looks and smells similar but nowadays anything can be copied but she’s not sure either. It didn’t make my skin break out or anything, but left clean kinda squeaky clean and did felt not very much hydrating on me. It left with kinda weirdly dry feeling like stripping of all moisturizer of the skin, maybe should have bought less% of laurel oil, so make sure to use moisturizer afterwards. I do have another complain is that it’s too big and would have been better if came come but these soaps tend to come big from manufactured company, so I recommend cutting it into 3-4 cubes before using it or it tends melt faster. Definitely worth trying out for people with skin issues and this is perfect for ppl who feels their body aren’t clean enough or very oily, can give that refreshing feeling.

Authentic, natural soap with a wonderful traditional feel!
This is an excellent soap! The most important thing for me is that it’s completely natural and free from harsh chemicals. I have ordered this several times already because I love it so much. With 20% Laurel Oil and 80% Olive Oil, you can really feel the traditional quality. It has a very pleasant scent, though I should note it might seem a bit specific to those who are used to synthetic perfumes and artificial fragrances. To me, it smells clean and authentic. It leaves my skin feeling great without any irritation. If you appreciate natural products, this Aleppo soap is a must-have!

Great for men & menopause
Cleans & moisturizing. My brother LOVED this soap (scent, moisturizing, asked where I got it) when he was a house guest. He suffered from dry skin. This also helped a particular menopause symptom. The downstairs burning itching (menopause ain't for the weak) was relieved after using ONCE. After 3 days in a row I nearly cried from gratitude. Anything that stops that symptom is a freakin miracle! Keeping in stock for life. (Please don't go viral and triple your price.)

Sharp bits
I really like this soap. It's got an earthy smell, which I like, but my kids said it smells like old books (which I don't think they meant as bad). It doesn't leave a scent on the skin, just clean. After a few times of using it, some sharp inbeds have appeared. I'm not sure what they are, and I can remove them with my nail as I find them... but it's not good feeling to be using the soap and have something sharp dragging across your skin.
