It’s a decent brow pencil and I’ve been happy with the quality. It applies easily, gives a natural-looking result and, most importantly, hasn’t caused any irritation or discomfort. I’m just not completely convinced by the waterproof claim. It seems to stay reasonably well, but I wouldn’t rely on it being completely waterproof. That said, for everyday brow makeup it does the job well and is a good little pencil for the price. Overall, a decent product that I’m happy enough with, although I’d be more cautious about the waterproof claim.

Just ordered yet another of these.....someone else said the pencil doesn't last too long, and i guess that's true, but at the price this pencil equals other, much much more expensive, offerings so it seems very much worth it. The colours are subtle and natural looking and i get a great result as an older woman with Blonde. Have tried other colours, which i liked too, but at the price one can afford to experiment and this one works best for me.

With diminishing eyebrows I needed a simple solution that lasts all day. This retractable eyebrow pencil doesn’t need sharpening which is a plus, it lasts all day and the ‘blonde’ colour is the right colour for me, not too dark. The only negative really is that it doesn’t last long, just under three weeks but at under £4 you can’t really complain. Just ordered two more!

Stays put , good value

I've bought these for a year or 2 now and I wouldn't go without them now. From a woman that was a teenager in the early 2000s I plucked my eyebrows until basically nothing was left. These are are brilliant to restore shape to your eyebrows, it doesn't wash off as the day goes on, really easy to apply and really decent price so overall would 100% recommend . Its a constant in my makeup bag now.

Great colour & long lasting but crumbles easily whilst using, so you loose half of your product.

This is such a nice and affordable eyebrow pencil. I made the mistake of applying it too hard because of a previous order, but realised it is better to apply lightly. Which means it will last much longer for me. It is almost gel like but stays on for a while -- unless you wipe it with an alcohol wipe, of course. Really nice eyebrow pencil. I am considering on ordering another one just in case it is no longer in production. I recommend brushing your eyebrows down and drawing a line at the top and brushing up and drawing a line at the bottom. Then fill it in and smudge it lightly with the brush to diffuse it a bit better.

I absolutely love this pencil in Taupe. The color gives the most natural finish and works beautifully across a range of hair colors, from blonde to light and medium brown. It blends seamlessly and never looks overdone when applied with a light hand. The spoolie on the other end is genuinely useful. I use it to brush and shape the brows before and during application, which helps guide the hairs into place and creates a much more polished result. The creamy texture glides on smoothly with minimal effort and distributes evenly without any clumping. The pigment is rich enough to fill sparse areas but the key is not to press too hard, otherwise it is easy to overdo it. A light touch gives the most natural look. The staying power is impressive. Throughout the day the color holds up well even if you accidentally touch your brows. Only if you deliberately rub them will the color come off. My brows look the same in the evening as they did in the morning. I have gone through many of these pencils and the quality and price are consistently excellent. My only wish is that e.l.f. would release the same formula in a wooden pencil that you sharpen, since the retractable format tends to run out faster. That said, it will not stop me from repurchasing. Also worth mentioning, e.l.f. is vegan and cruelty-free, which is always a welcome bonus.
