You can have happy, healthy, plant-based cats. My kitties love this Benevo, cleared bowls every time. They were fussy eaters and wouldn't eat own brand or main brand dry food, meaty or otherwise. As a vegan, I thought I would try them on Benevo despite the slightly raised price and as a result, the cats, the animals that weren't being put into the product and myself - we all win! Little bit more expensive but 100% guilt free. And to top it off, the product smells and looks relatively pleasant, the shapes are well formed hearts spreading more love with every serve.

My cat is an older lady who up until recently was a stray. I am vegan and agreed with my omni partner that I would buy her vegan kibble and he would buy her ordinary wet food with meat, so as not to upset her stomach if this kibble would have been missing anything and to help the transition. This was not necessary! She absolutely loves this kibble, we never even needed to mix it with anything at the start, she went straight for it and two months later is still eating it happily every day. Initially we would also put out the wet food, but realised that she would barely touch in and just stick to the kibble. We have been to the vet twice, once at the start and now two months later and she is in good health with no issues to do with her digestion or nutrition. Couldn't recommend it more! And the price is reasonable as well! We will certainly continue to buying this in the future.

I have been using this cat food for 2 years now and my cat loved it. I just ordered a 10kg bag, but the recipe appears to have changed- my cat now won’t eat it, and spits it out. The kibble is also tiny in comparison. Really disappointed as now I have a 10kg bag of food that my cat won’t eat that cost me £70. I wouldn’t have purchased such a large bag if I knew the recipe had changed- nowhere on the page did it warn of this. I will now have to find an alternative food for my cat.

My cat loves this food. He's been on it for about three years and is in perfect health. When I was switching him over to it I mixed it 50-50 with his old cat food (Hill's Science Food) and he was picking out the Benevo and leaving the Hill's.

Thought I'd give this vegan cat food a try just fir a change. The cats seem to like it.

I can only comment on flavour based on what my cats say about it, to be honest. I've been feeding my 6 rescue cats Benevo dry food for years and they really are very fond of it. Their blood panels come back perfectly normal each time they have a routine check done and their overall health is great. One of them does have struvite problems - NOT because of this food! It's sadly very common in male neutered cats - so I unfortunately have to give him special vet food as well. I catch him eating Benevo instead all the time though, so it must be tasty, because his alternative diet is supposed to be top quality and delicious too. My cats don't go for the wet Benevo food, alas, and they do need moisture intake from food so I mix the best meat I can find for them with pureed chick peas, lysine, hemp oil and vegan cat probiotics, sometimes with added colloidal silver, as a wet food. I can't wait for a vegan wet food that satisfies their dietary needs and whose taste they like to become available, but thanks to Benevo kibble I can already reduce greatly our household's contribution to the horrors of animal agriculture. Great food. The cats eat it all up. It puts a grin on there faces

It was a horrible job to find a vegan food for my kitten, but Benevo solved it and the next challenge was if my kitten would like it or not as he is very choosy. But he find it awesome- liked it too much. Only thing which is a con is that the price is tooooo high , but love to have it , as it is a guilt free food for kitten especially when we are pure vegetarians. I am so happy I found this product. I'm a vegan because I'm against animal exploitation, so I try to avoid products made from animals. And for some time now I've been looking for a vegan cat food and I decided to try this dry cat food by Benevo. I was worried they wouldn't like it, but to my surprise they're eating it. They seem to like it. Honestly it may depend on your pet's preferences, but I think it's worth a try especially if you share the same ethical concerns as I do.

I love this food for my wild boy Charlie ! Although he does not look wild in the picture because he is so much more calm on this food . And no animals are harmed !!!! I LOVE this more than you know !!!!! It seemed expensive at first but it’s really not ! It’s time for me anyway to put my money where my mouth is with fantastic quality food like this !!!! Thank you !!!!!!

On a eu 2 petits chats stérilisés d'une asso, on ne savait pas ce qu'ils avaient avant comme croquette, donc le changement ne s'est pas fait petit a petit, mais d'un coup. ...et s'est bien bien passé ! Les chats adorent les croquettes, la digestion se passe bien (y compris le premier jour). Nos chats sont en parfaite santé, et cerise sur le gâteau, la litière ne sent pas mauvais.
