Beautiful, great quality and well made. A wall plug is provided so no need to hard wire. The plug outlet is located on the lower right corner of the mirror just below the USB ports. The vanity mirror is stand alone or wall mounted. On the back of the mirror there are keyhole openings for the hangers. To get an idea of what's involved in replacing your bathroom mirror and hanging the vanity mirror, do a search on "how to hang a mirror" or "how to hang a heavy wall clock". I like to start my days looking as good on the outside as I feel on the inside. Most bathrooms do not have the best lighting for applying makeup. This mirror is a nice little addition to my room. I opted to secure it to the base rather than mounting it on the wall since I'm currently without a permanent space. For now, it's resting on a shelf but I plan on moving it to a vanity once I'm able to get one. However, I was a bit disappointed with the size of the lights. They're only 1" around and I was hoping for a more Hollywood vibe with larger bulbs. Despite their small size, the lights are pretty bright. It has three different light settings and each one can be dimmed to my preference, which is a great feature. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the manufacturer included a plug for the wall, which is rare these days. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend this vanity light for anyone looking for a simple yet functional addition to their space.

This was a little smaller than I expected - which turned out to be absolutely perfect since it fit so well on my desk/vanity. I have it currently sitting on my desk, but I may eventually take the base off and hang - and it's pretty cool that's an option if you're on the taller side or have a long torso like me. It also has different lighting effects -warm, cool, and mid-tones, which I appreciate for different things like plucking my eyebrows versus applying make-up. Really - overall a great find for anyone wanting to class up their vanity area. If someone were a budding beauty streamer, this would be a great gift.
