Can anyone tell me how padded the strap is? Is it comfortable for a heavy(ish) load?

In my opinion it is not padded at all. What I would call a standard webbing strap with a leather patch round about where it passes over the shoulder. There again I don’t use my bag to carry something as heavy as a laptop and associated accessories, so the strap has never given me any trouble.

I asked for a receipt for this item but never received one.
