Pyramex Safety Emerge Plus Readers Safety Glasses, 2.5 Diopters, Clear Full Reader Lens (SG9810R25)

I'm an aircraft mechanic and old. These look really nerdy but offer great safety for your eyes and excellent clarity. The rubber sleeves on the ear pieces will be the first to go, but this is only after almost a year of hard use. I moved up from a 2.0 to a 2.5 as my vision has gotten worse-reading tiny text-but these have never let me down. They are tough. Would recommend. I'll keep on buying this brand.

I've owned multiple pairs of safety glasses over the years. (In part due to needing increasing strength of diopters, and in part due to the plusses and minuses of bifocals.) I decided to get this pair after several other pairs...let me down. Granted, I am writing this review before having these glasses for a length of time. However, some of the weaknesses I saw in the other glasses aren't present here. (If that changes, I'll update my review.) These just seem to be very well made. The nose piece is solid and stays in place. I've had nose pieces fall off other glasses, making them uncomfortable to use. The "arms" of the frames are comfortable against my temple, and feel solidly connected, while still having a spring to them. The lenses are a good size, and there is also some protection extended to where the arms begin. Overall, I like these a lot, and hope that they provide me with a long time of good use. I'll update this if they don't!

The clarity and improvement of my vision is highly impressive. I haven’t had safety glasses that allowed me to see clearly with just one set of lenses. Usually, I have to wear safety glasses over my normal eyeglasses so these are a huge improvement and comfort, The side shield block a little bit of vision, but overall they feel good to wear all day

Wow, what a difference these glasses make when working on projects when I need to see details but also need to protect my eyes. They provided wraparound protection and excellent magnification. The viewing area is also large unlike glasses that use a small bifocal type lense.

The glasses have a good snug fit with the right amount of tension to hold on my head. They don't distort or curve the viewed objects. I like that the whole lens has the magnification instead of just a readers partition. I like the added protection from the side and some at the top and bottom to shield me from flying debris. The glasses appear well built. The nose guard is designed with anti slip pads. This is something that is priceless and prevents me from having to push back the glasses on my face over and over. I am happy with my purchase.

These are great +2.5 diopter safety glasses. I use them for soldering and buffing and such, mostly on brass instruments. They are crystal clear, comfortable, fit well, don't fog up, and after the first few uses, show no signs of damage.

Full lens readers. Work great. Optically good.

Some glasses diopter varies over the lens,these thou are consistent overall and are quite comfortable,the side protectors are a little distracting and that is the only point i would suggest needs improvement.

estos lentes si son de alta resistencia. podría decir que irrompibles. a mi me los aplasto por descuido una maquina retroexcavadora con uno de los gatos. quedaron aplastados los volví a acomodar y aun los uso.

These have made working in the shop much easier. So many times I need to read the small print or check a measurement and my eyes just can't make out the detail. These are perfect and stylish. They fit great!
