My milk supply has not come in yet. When should I start using this as a precautionary measure?

Typically milk can take 2-3 days after birth to come in (according to google & my hospital experience since I’m in no way a lactation specialist) but in my experience, I don’t think you’ll need this product unless you start having blockages in which you’ll most definitely be able to feel a tender or painful lump. Typically this happens if you don’t express the milk out of your body for long enough or rapidly change the timeframe in between feedings (I slept an hour passed my normal pumping time since I had family watching the baby and my boobs apparently didn’t like that so I ended up with a clog) With my first kid, I had zero issues with any type of blocks and I exclusively pumped for 4 months (he had 4th degree tongue tie and had already gotten used to the bottle nipple so I pumped to keep the milk coming in). You just have to try to keep pumping or feeding to get your boobs stimulated to produce a consistent milk flow. The first few days are stressful since you want to make milk for you baby so I totally get it. Once you have established a milk supply/flow, this product would then be good if you notice your boobs becoming engorged consistently or you get clumps easy. I personally didn’t need this product until I started having issues with clumps (cause why take more supplements on top of prenatals post-birth if you don’t absolutely need to) but you know your body best!! Hope this helps!
