Does just about everything I could want it to do and one thing I don't want it to do.
The Fintie Blade X1 is pretty awesome. It types fine, as long as I can get my fingers positioned correctly. The build quality is far better than what I thought ~ 30 bucks would get me. All of the buttons are solid, the case is awesome, the magnetic features are very strong. Connects easily and quickly to my Tab S and the battery has been going strong for over a month. It loses a star for these reasons.1. The thing I wish it did. When typing in a messenger type app (ie FB Messenger), pressing the Enter button does not send the message, but instead acts as a Return button, sending my cursor to the next line.2. The thing I wish it didn't. When it goes to battery save mode, it will shut down whichever app I am currently in to some degree. UC Browser will close and lose wherever it was. Skype will turn off my camera and go to the main screen, but the call will not drop, so I just have to bring the video back up. Games don't seem to be affected, likely because they take control of full screen responsibilities. This force close issue can also occur when I start typing without letting it connect (like I forgot it went to sleep).Other than that, it's great. Using this with my Tab S made not having my laptop for the last month of deployment much more bearable. I would definitely recommend.

great little keyboard
I wasn't sure if I'd like this or not, but I wanted soemething to protect my tablet and wanted a keyboard as well. This definitely fit the criteria.Overall, I've been impressed. The keys feel very natural and it's very easy to type on. There only seems to be 2 or 3 drawbacks otherwise I would have given it a 5* rating. 1) because it's a small keyboard, some of the buttons are in function keys, basically an alternate shfit key. Not a big deal, but does take some getting used to. 2) granted, I have not experienced this, but other reviews have said that this keyboard can scratch the screen. I'm taking percautions to avoid this, so just skepticism and cautionay warning to all who read this. 3) seems to disconnect really fast if you are not constantly using it. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. I will also point out that I'm not sure if this is a keyboard issue or an android issue, or just the way bluetooth works.Last note: this keyboard and cover feels very durable and well made. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in a keyboard case combo.

Great Keyboard!
One of the better bluetooth keyboards I've used. Looks great, and the keys have a good feel/travel. Case/keyboard is super-slim, slimmer than a previous combo I owned even without the keyboard, and of good quality.I only have 3 problems with the setup:1) There should be a groove(s) to stand up the tablet if the keyboard is not attached. Works great with the keyboard (magnetically), attached otherwise it doesn't hold up that well past 60 degrees. With the keuyboard attached, however, it's rock-solid.2) There should be rubber spacers on the keyboard as the keys seem to press right up against the Tab's screen. I'm thinking that the keyboard might scratch the screen. Though after a couple weeks of useage it hasn't yet.3) The automatic screen activation/deactivation (using magnets) should work with the keyboard. It works fine if the keyboard is not there (i.e. Open the case and the screen is automatically turned on and vice-versa), but once the keyboard is between the screen can the case, it no longer works. These problems are relatively minor, for me, and do not detract for the value of this case. Definitely one of my better tablet accesories buy.

The keyboard makes my fingers want to jump off a cliff, but the case isn't bad.
The caseThe case its self is pretty decent. Has a decent feel, seems solid and has pretty good placement for the magnets. The KeyboardI really like the feel of the keys them self, They have a nice click to them and the depression weight feels good. That being said - I find the placement less than desirable. In general some of the keys just feel wrong.examples -For a ' I need to press fn+L.The / ? \ | keys are next to the space bar. [my fingers hate you]There is a mail button directly next to the space bar. [who thought this was a good idea?]To top this off the keyboard is 1/2 inch slimmer than the case/tablet. To me this says they just reused the keyboard from an 8 inch tablet for the 8.5 inch tablet. Even had that not been the case there is a 1/4 inch bevel around the keys. Not sure why they wouldn't use a bit more of that space. but this totals around a full inch more they had to work with had they used all of the space available to them. Oh well. They keyboard works other than this, which is the point - but my fingers are not happy about it.

Connected via Bluetooth easily. This was good because I am not really ...
I took a risk buying this as there were very few reviews...if any at all. Connected via Bluetooth easily. This was good because I am not really up-to-speed connecting that way. I was also concerned that it would scratch my tablet when I closed it but that is NOT an issue. The keyboard is metallic and you need to moved it up and down to position for use or position for closing. You have to move it up to about a half/3/4 inch from the tablet fixed position to close. Again, seems like the two will touch/collide/scratch but this has never happened. So it seems that whoever designed this knew what they were doing. As far as its build quality, 5 stars. As far as use-ability, it requires practice. Not the fault of the product, just a fact of life when you make a keyboard so small. Again, it takes some getting use to. Much better than I had expected. If it had costs more I would have not taken the gamble. Hope this review helps you. Check out my Internet Radio Station at [...] Thank you
