Makes wonderful soy yogurt!
I was skeptical but had run out of my usually yogurt starter, and couldnโt believe this would work with only 1/16 tsp. This was my best batch yet! Hereโs what I did. 1 box shelf-stable Edensoy soy milk 1/16 tsp. vegan yogurt starter Instant Pot with rack 3 pint jars or 6 half-pints Mix starter in a bowl with soy milk. Whisk to mix. Pour into jars and place on rack in instant Pot. Place lid on pot and press yogurt button. Set IP timer for 14 hours. Delicious, mild, perfect yogurt! Iโm sold! For subsequent batches, use 2 tbsp. yogurt from previously batch as a starter.

Great for make-at-home nondairy yogurt
Works well to make no dairy yogurt for a lot less than you can get in the store. Thickness depends on the milk you use. Nice tangy taste. Only need a very small amount.

Good quality
Good quality plant based starter, works well with coconut milk and gives a tart flavor.

Great vegan yogurt starter
This is my go-to yogurt starter for my vegan yogurt. I just use an eighth of a teaspoon or so and one container of the Trader Joe's soy milk. It has nothing in it but soy milk that's why I use that one. I put it in my instant pot on the yogurt setting for 14 hours and voila I have yogurt. It is not like thick Greek yogurt It's very kind of thin and runny. But I like it on fruit with a little honey and walnuts. I keep it in the fridge and it lasts months. It's a very small container, But you only use the tiniest bit when you make a batch of yogurt. Highly recommend.

1/16th teaspoon perfection
I use room-temperature Edensoy and the InstantPot yogurt setting. I warm the mason jars in the microwave for 30 seconds before pouring in the blended culture with the soy milk. Ready in 8 hours. I then leave it at room temp. for 2 hours before refrigerating. Comes out perfect every time. I strain it in container for super thick greek style. It also works perfect with Trader Joe's Soy Beverage...both Edensoy and TJ's are just soybeans and water, no additives. Love this stuff. Vegan-delish and affordable.

Only need a tiny amount per batch
I was shocked when I saw what a small amount of probiotic this was, but it works super well and you only need a tiny amount for each batch of yogurt. It turns out as thick and delicious as the more expensive kinds.

15 gallons is deceiving
I used 1/8 tsp with 64oz (half gallon) soy milk. This barely made it thick enough. If I have to use 1/4 tsp for 64oz this jar will only get me 2 gallons as the jar is advertising (up to) 15 gallons when only using avg. of 1/16 of a tsp. Making this product too expensive. 2 gallons is a far cry from 15 gallons.

Iโm so glad I found this!
Iโve been making togurt for years and always used plain unsweetened yogurt or some yogurt from a previous batch. When I needed to change to dairy free yogurt I tried a few different starters. None of them compare to this starter. The yogurt I make with this starter and organic soy milk comes out creamy and has a good yogurt taste. I make one gallon at a time and use 1/16 tsp for the entire gallon! It is so good. Iโve even strained it extra long to make dairy free lebneh.
