Out of the box this blade is the sharpest thing I have ever seen. Rested it on a green pepper and the weight of the blade alone sliced right through. The bevel edge appears to be less than an ideal 15 degrees so some care has to be used to not chip its thin edge (avoid bone). Excellent for dicing vegetables. True damascus steel but not prone to rusting, time will tell how it holds an edge.

I love this knife. I bought the bigger one before Christmas and loved it so I bought the next size smaller.

Knife is still sharp after a few months. It is my most commonly used knife. No issues with rust, after washing I dry it off.

I wasn't sure if this knife would perform like I had hoped. Well, I am absolutely thrilled with this knife. I cut through onions and green peppers like they were butter. I'm hoping to purchase more from this company in the near future.
