I've used these tears for years and wouldn't use any other for extra liquidity. They are a little heavier than usual tears, hence the 'Eye Gel' designation. They stay in longer and are great for overnight - keeping your eye lubricated for hours.

These aren't your usual eye drops. There are lots of products available if you are looking for those. These are more gel like and will provide a protective film on your eye. If you work in a dusty environment these are better than the watery ones. I also use them for flushing, but they aren't ideal for that. They will gunk up your lashes when left overnight. Not recommended for use with false eyelashes or mascara. I love the vials. It's so rare to find these vials, most eye drops come in the opaque bottles. I hate those. I use a lot during pollen season and working with dust. But non at other times. With the bottles I always threw away a lot because they don't last after opening the bottle. These I can use when I need them. I also find the bottles a lot harder to use because they aren't see through and you never know how much is going to come out and when and how much is left. You have to make sure to twist off the top of the vial, rather than twist and pull. Otherwise you may create a plastic "nose" at the rim. I use a two step process to get the drops out. First shake the liquid down to twist off the top, then turn the vial upside down and give it a tap to move the liquid back up to the top. Then you can just squeeze out a drop. Hold face sideways to allow gravity to drop it into your eye. Also get a magnifying mirror to make getting them in easier. It took me a while to learn that you can put the cap back on. But they recommend you use the product promptly after opening to avoid it spoiling. Give it a few minutes after you apply them before you go anywhere. These aren't the drop-in and run kind. They will blur your vision for a little while. I hope they will keep making these. I tried other eye drops. Even other ones from the same brand but these can't be beat in my eyes. (pun intended)

First of all, people need to research what type of eyedrop they are using! There are much thinner ones like the regular Refresh or the Systane. They have the consistency of water and add some moisture to your eyes but if you have a real dry eye problem then those are not enough. I started getting dry eye problems a couple of months ago and almost immediately got a retinal tear. I had about 30 shots of laser done to my eye to cauterize the tear and stop a detachment. Ever since then I've continued to have dry eyes and recently they have been VERY dry, to where it looks like I'm looking through fog some of the time. Out of huge concern I reached out to my ophthalmologist who treated my retinal tear. These are the exact Refresh drops that she recommended as well as the ophthalmologist recommended Bruder eye compress that is an eye mask you microwave for 20 seconds to help add moisture to your eyes and eyelids. These appear to be thin like the most known Refresh but they are a slightly thicker material and will blur your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes as they are supposed to because they are thicker/ more moisturizing! They are not as thick as the gels which some people use especially at night that is way thicker than these. You have to look at what your needs are and not criticize these because they temporarily blur your vision. Again there are eye drops for everyone's issues and these are the ones my ophthalmologist told me to get. They add noticeably more moisture to my eyes than the regular Refresh. I just wouldn't put my contacts in until afterwards if at all when you have a dry eye problem. I've always liked Refresh because you can push/snap the top handle back on and use the rest later. Someone said it makes them tired afterwards lol which is just a feeling of having something thicker in your eye temporarily making you feel like your eyes are "heavy"/ aka sleepy. Very glad I got these!

This eye gel has been amazing for keeping my eyes hydrated during my pre- and post-LASIK treatment. My ophthalmologist recommended it, and I completely understand why. It provides long-lasting moisture and really helps relieve dryness and irritation, especially at night or after spending time looking at screens. The texture is thicker than regular artificial tears, which helps the hydration last much longer. My eyes feel much more comfortable after using it, especially during recovery. One thing to know is that right after applying it, your vision can become a little blurry for a few minutes because of the gel consistency. Personally, I expected that and don’t mind it since the moisturizing effect is so good. Overall, an excellent product for dry eyes and LASIK recovery. I would definitely keep repurchasing it.

Cools the eye and soothes them.

This gel eye drops really helps dry itchy eyes way better then just normal because gel is just so much better. I have used it ever since I got Bell’s palsy and that really affected my eyes and I always keep this in my purse and is a must have for me. Very convenient size. Eyes are blurry for a bit after so good to do it before bed. I’ll put some in my eyes then do my renpho eye massager.

I've always bought eye drops bottles that have to be thrown away after a month. Because these are single use vials, I need to use only one at a time and the pack lasts long. Also, the drops are gel so they are very soothing for dry, tired eyes.
