Very informative
While I don't own an exceptional camera or take portraits, it is always something I've bee very interested in doing but unfortunately haven't found the time. With this book, anyone can take great portraits. This book has such great information on using your camera to the best of its ability, poses - or not, and how to edit your photos like a professional. I highly recommend this book to anyone just getting started.

For Beginners Only
This "book" is really just a pamphlet. It is 35 pages, not 44 pages as advertised.Be aware - it does not contain even one photograph, chart or diagram, only text. Most topics are covered in two or three paragraphs. You get advice like, "Before taking a photo, even with just two to four people, make sure everyone is ready."Chapter 2 is entitled "Establishing a Repertoire with Your Subject." Presumably, the author meant "rapport," not repertoire. There is absolutely nothing here, except for the rankest of beginners. I sent mine back.

Complete waste of time and money
Waste of money. Instructions are in text only. Not a single photograph. This is the photographic equivalent of click bait - a headline that promises much and delivers very little. Spend a bit more money and buy one of the dozens of outstanding photography books on the market.
