8 Vibrating Alarms Watch Medication Reminder for Elderly Seniors

I needed to replace my Timex Expedition Vibration, and this watch looked to be perfect. This watch met all my selection criteria. It had a vibration alarm. It doesn't have any connectivity, and it uses regular watch batteries. It also had some significant improvements over the Timex. It is sleeker and weighs less than the Timex, and the display is easier to see. I also prefer the black numbering on the light background. These improvements over the Timex were an added bonus. The 1 major design flaw is that any time you press any of the buttons, the watch beeps, and there is no way to turn that beeping off. This seems like a major design flaw to me. Clearly someone that is buying a watch with vibration alert wants the watch to alert them in a stealthy way. You would think it would be obvious that the user would like to also interact with the watch in a stealthy way. The vibration on this watch is just as strong as the vibration on the Timex, so it works great for waking me up in the morning. Unfortunately, whenever I turn off the alarm, it gives an audible beep. So I still run the risk of waking up my wife when I turn the alarm off. Hearkent, I hope you read this and add just one more set-up function to the watch. Let the user decide if they want the watch to beep when they press buttons because I would turn that function off to have a fully stealthy watch.

The alarm quality does not put out a load enough alarm and the vibration is not intense enough for the user to feel. Therefore it serves no purpose or benefits of wearing it to serve as a alarm for someone to take their medications or for whatever else a person may need an alarm for. I also do not care for the return process for this item. It requires me to provide a box, when it wasn't even shipped as a single package. So there for it didnt come in a box that is suitable to return it in. Plus I had to pay for labels to be mailed out in 4 to 5 days because I don't have access to a printer myself. And I also have a deadline to return it by while I wait for the label and find a box myself that will be suitable to return it in.

Pretty good watch for the price. It keeps me taking my daily pills 4 times a day without disturbing anyone. Although some of the functions can be a bit confusing ****Good Purchase""""

At first glance this watch has a clean look, the back light that eliminated was just right to check the time without binding the user. But the overall quality and durability was lacking, I had to return it 3 days in for loss of function

Although I'm not that old, I have very poor vision so I need a giant watch. I also need one with a vibrating alarm. This watch satisfies both of these needs. I have been wearing it for only a few days and I do like it, but I have quickly found a few disappointments. First, the lugs are non-standard. The band is listed at 20mm but the lugs are wider at 22mm. Also, the lugs are a style that require the band to have three sections instead of two. I have never seen a watch band like this. I was really hoping to add a stainless steel band as my job is rough on watches but I can't find anything that would fit. The second disappointment is that there is no way to put the watch in "silent" mode. I was hoping with a vibrating alarm the entire watch could run silent. Not so. Every time you hit a button, the watch beeps including when TURNING OFF THE VIBRATING ALARM. What's the point of a silent alarm if the watch beeps when you turn it off? I'm keeping it for now as I need a watch but will definitely be looking elsewhere for my next one.

Alarms are easy to set. The screen is easy to read and the buzzer was easy to hear. All in all it was east.

VERY HARD TO INSTALL BATTERY. NEVER DID GET WATCH BACK TOGETHER.

Convenient product that is sturdy and reliable. I am amazed that the wrist band is still intact after I take it off at night and put back on in the AM. Unless its made from leather, the wrist bands on most watches that I purchased crackd and required replacement within a year.

The vibration alarm was easy to set and works perfectly notifying my husband to take his meds without alerting everyone around him.

Functions as advertised, my only issue is that the buttons when pressed beep, and your cannot turn off the beep. You can turn off our change so other sounds/alarms however every time you push a button, you can not turn off the sound it makes when pressed. Strange.

OK, I had an op and had to follow a meds routine. Odd that I had to set up 6 alarms when I really only wanted the one to repeat every 4 hours! NO REPEAT FUNCTION. Tedious, but it works, however only the audio alarm works - the vibrate wouldn't wake an ant on uppers! On the upside it is the only one I could find that would do this and although it is not rechargeable, it did come with a spare battery. Had it a month and still using it. Not bad quality and very readable, backlight works great and you will figure out how to set the alarms eventually!

With 8 easily programmable alarms and the ability to choose between audible or vibration alarms this is an excellent watch. The alarm will vibrate for 20 seconds and has a very good intensity that you will feel. The numbers are large and easy to read. Very nice watch to help with reminders or to get you up silently without waking up your spouse!
