I've got the Kindle edition of the book. I love the fact that the author gives a peek into her design process, sketching out an idea is a great springboard for more than most amigurumi pattern books offer. The book does not just give you the formula of a particular design but keeps the crocheters creative juices flowing with the various options.

The author nails this. Because each character can have one of five bodies, you already get more variety than the usual book - largely because the author is clear that there’s a limited number of forms.What’s cool is how interchange these all are. It has a great blend of standardisation and customisation that you can work out pretty easily.The dolls are so cute and the patterns are straightforward and well written. Massive kudos.

Easy to follow patterns with ample pictures. 20 different animals, each with five different body options (lying down, standing, sitting etc).

I'm new to crochet and one of these animals was only the third thing I'd ever crocheted. I've since made many more for friends and family and they are very cute. I recommend using plush yarn for an extra teddy feel.

Beautiful book, but written in American terms not English, so very hard to learn how to do it if you are a beginner , having to convert as well as learn. But beautiful book apart from that
