The beauty of this switch design is that you only need to run one cable for all 8 cameras from the loft to the ground floor. It keeps the wiring clean and gives you a central point to manage everything. You can keep your NVR separate and easily add or remove cameras whenever needed. Since it’s a POE switch, it can also be reused with other brands. A very practical setup. Its true value for money as save a lots of work to create extra holes into ceiling/house walls.

Really good product and it's not just for cctv cameras. You can connect anything with a ethernet cable,also it saves you buying a full reolink nvr. I have reolink cameras that have a micro memory card slot, so it records events in that or you can set the app on your pc to record on a space designated by you. Price is bit expensive fir the tyoe of product but it is what it is.

If you have a Reolink Hub or Hub Pro and wish to use POE (Power Over Ethernet) cameras this is an essential item. It allows rapid data transfer from several cameras whilst providing the power for your cameras. It needs a power socket and you will need one spare Ethernet socket on your router which this switch is connected too. There are no setting up requirements - plug it in, connect to your router and connect you Reolink cameras and it just works.

Très bon switch PoE pour une installation de vidéosurveillance. Les 8 ports PoE permettent d'alimenter directement les caméras tout en assurant la transmission des données, ce qui simplifie vraiment le câblage. L'installation est très simple : on branche les câbles réseau et le switch fait le reste. Les deux ports Gigabit supplémentaires sont également pratiques pour relier le switch au réseau ou à un autre équipement. Utilisé avec des caméras Reolink, le fonctionnement est stable et je n'ai constaté aucune coupure. Le boîtier semble bien construit et chauffe raisonnablement. Un équipement particulièrement intéressant pour mettre en place ou étendre facilement une installation de caméras PoE. Très satisfait de mon achat.
