TFA Pool thermometer Malibu MEGA 30.3053.MEGA Radio Controlled Thermometer incl. 2 Displays (Black)

Bought in May - pool thermometer stopped working on its first set of batteries in July due to water ingress. The package up until then was excellent. The pool thermometer is large to read and seems to float well. The outside pool thermometer gives an indication of the temperature outside the pool and the pool thermometer tells the temp of the pool. One day the pool thermometer didn't respond, and when I opened it, I managed to pour out some water - blueish in colour. The seal seemed to be ok. I dried out the thermometer for a few days but no luck. So the system seems to be good but the pool thermometer fails to last more than a few weeks.

Ok for around 3 months. Then water seeps in. The company replaced the thermometer a few times but I have now gone for another brand. Nit worth the hassle.

My lastTFA Malibu pond/pool thermometer and air temperature thermometer saw service in my koi pond for six years solid, my only reason for getting rid of it is the sun bleached the readout making it hard to read.But this new idea of two remote readouts is fantastic as it now allows me to follow the pond and air temperature thermometers from both the comfort of our living room and fish/filter house when we are out in the fish/filter house, then we can at a glance get virtually the same readings apart from our living room temp as opposed the fish/filter house which show their respective indoor air temperature readings.This is my reason for all five Stars I awarded TFADave B 🙏

Ce système de mesure de température est bien adapté à la piscine. Il permet de transmettre la température de l'eau et de l'air à un afficheur dans la maison et dans l'abri piscine. J'ai levé une étoile à cause du système d'étanchéité du capteur qui n'est pas évident. Pour mettre les piles en place il faut dévisser le couvercle, mettre les piles et revisser le couvercle. Il faut faire très attention car l'étanchéité est assurée par un petit joint torique avec lequel j'ai déjà eu des problèmes à cause de son positionnement.En changeant les piles vous avez 8 chances sur 10 de nuire sans le vouloir à l'étanchéité du capteur piscine. Le système est mal conçu.

Bei diesem Produkt- Ensemble stimmt das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis. Die Reichweite des Funksignals sowohl des Poolsenders als auch des Außensenders sind durchaus bemerkenswert. Das geht also schon mal durch ein oder zwei massive Wände über eine Distanz von ca. 15-20 Metern. Gut finde ich auch die zwei gleichen Displays. Eines hängt fest an der Wand im Schlafzimmer, da sehe ich schon morgens, wie warm die Luft und das Wasser sind, und das zweite nehme ich immer mit raus zum Carport, wo wir im Sommer überwiegend sitzen. Sind also ständig im Bilde über alle gängigen Temperaturwerte. Habe das ganze jetzt seit ungefähr drei Monaten und bin bislang sehr zufrieden. Hoffe, daß es auch so bleibt. Würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen und deshalb 5 Sterne.

Bonne station météo. Application mobile alerts utile et fiable. Mais la sonde piscine pas faite pour durer, entre 12 et 24 mois.

Das Thermometer tut genau das, was es soll. Die Pooltemperatur und die Umgebungstemperatur sind ständig ablesbar in den Räumen, wo die 2 Anzeigen stehen.Ein Wermuts-Tropfen gibt es jedoch: Die Reichweite. Maximal 15 Meter, wenn eine Holzwand dazwischen ist. Eine Betonwand reduziert noch viel mehr. Also am Besten immer so nahe wie möglich den jeweiligen Sender zum Empfänger aufstellen.Trotzdem: sehr zufrieden.
