It's as good as promised.
Lives up to its description in every way, sits level on the burner, without the use of any butter or oil omelettes slid out easily, handle is comfortable in the hand and does not heat up at all. This is my 4th Swiss Diamond non-stick pan and I would never buy any other. The other three are anywhere from 5 to 3 years old and performing as well now as they did when brand new.

Great Product
These Swiss Diamond pans are the best IMO. I ordered a complete set from the Swiss Diamond Company and wanted this smaller skillet for cooking eggs or a single sandwich. The finish is non-stick and everything slides right out of the pan but they are hand-wash only so don't even think of putting them in the dishwasher which will void the warranty.

Swiss Diamond…
Love it!!!Cooks food well. Easy to use and wash. The heat retention is kept steady at where you set it. The nonstick works well and the cookware is a 5 for durability. Looking to buy other pieces.

Heavy construction
Seller Review: Excellent and very quick delivery. Well packaged. 5 starsProduct Review: OK I'm still not sure about this one. First of al,l you can only cook on medium heat (lower than 7 out of 10 on an electric cook top) or lower. So it takes a while to cook things. Second, I'm so used to spraying nonstick spray and they're FIRMLY against using it. I've cooked pancakes that seemed to stick a bit, and I was so tempted to use the spray, but didn't as I don't want to damage the pan, as it's relatively expensive. The few things I've cooked have taken some "coaxing" to get the edges to release, but if you're gentle (and don't use a metal utensil or you could damage the pan), it comes free.Third: Another thing is… this is a HEAVY pan. Which may mean quality craftsmanship and better materials, more even cooking etc. But it's HEAVY and I have mild arthritis in my wrist and it's impossible to "flip" things out w/ one hand.I've not yet found a nonstick pan for which I'd award 5 stars, so this seems to be as good as it gets.In summary:You can't use metal utensils (same as all nonstick cookware)You can't use medium high or high heat (same as a lot of nonstick cookware)You can't use nonstick spray (OK that's a new one on me)It's awfully heavy. That's enough to keep me from giving it 5 stars. All in all, I'd give the pan 3.5 to 4 stars.

No warranty on these pans if you cook with them.
I bought this Swiss Diamond frying pans about 7 years ago. The surface has failed, and I tried to return this pan to have it replaced under warranty. As it turns out (according to them) I used the pan improperly (by trying to cook with it?). Here's what they sent:The darkening of your pan's surface and/or base indicates the pan was damaged through overheating over an extended period of time. This will cause the nonstick surface to deteriorate and the base of the pan to become blackened which does void the Limited Lifetime Warranty on Swiss Diamond cookware. The pan also shows signs of carbonization. When oils are not thoroughly removed off the surface after each and every use coupled with high heat, they can bake into the coating, creating a brownish hue and cause the pan to permanently lose its nonstick abilities.Your monthly maintenance should include a deep cleaning to avoid this from happening to another pan: mix baking soda with water to form a toothpaste-like consistency, spread generously over entire surface, cover with Saran Wrap and let sit in a dry area OVERNIGHT. This breaks down the buildup of oils sitting on the surface before they bake in.I also sent in claims for two other pans and got the same boilerplate message. They are very ordinary pans, and work well when you apply heat to them. However, if you actually try to cook with them with heat, that apparently voids the warranty. And BTW, none of the procedures they suggested were disclosed when I bought the pans. It appears with normal use, these pans become unhealthy in 3-4 years.
