I grabbed this Sylvil short car antenna to replace the tall stock whip that was always smacking the garage door and getting bullied at the car wash. Because it is short and compact it looks good but still provided great reception for my AM/FM radio. Installation was easy, as the antenna comes packed with all of the possible adapters you might need to attach it to your vehicle. It also had the rubber grommets included so that I could make a water tight seal. All you have to do is screw the proper adapter (for your car or truck) into the bottom of the antenna and screw the other end into the antenna port, and you are done. Easy. The black carbon fiber is really attractive with its shiny finish and dark black tip. You can also order colors to suit your vehicle. My FM reception is excellent and I pull in even the weaker stations from far away. Easy to make a five star recommend on this one.

For the price, it’s a cool little antenna, only problem is that there are no adaptors that fit my 98, 99, or 2001 ford ranger but easy to modify one of the adaptors to work with the thread pitch on the truck, which is was 5-24

My truck wouldn't fit in the garage at my apartment complex. But the only thing too high was the antenna. The short antenna fits perfectly and looks sporty. It doesn't seem to effect reception. It's a good buy.

It technically fits a 2016 CRV in that it will screw in and you will get reception. But it does really mate well with the mounting base and the included washers don’t help with that. It does look so much better than the OEM antenna.

Works great

This little antenna does work pretty well, to spite having to make my own adaptor. The set of adaptors it came with didn't fit my truck, I had to make one from an old bolt. The reception is good around the local area. I haven't tried it on the open road yet. I don't know how long it will hold up, But so far it works.
