This is the only sling I'll trust moving forward
This is my third time being in a sling for a shoulder, but it's been 10 years since the last time. I'd finally gotten rid of my slings at home, so the first thing I did was buy just about every sling amazon has to offer. Look, a lot of these other ones are going to be fine for something ailments, I'm sure, but I won't trust any other sling for a recently dislocated shoulder. This is the only sling that gives me the support I need. The velcro is good and stays secured (unlike some). The lengths are adjustable. Is it confusing and hard to get on? I mean, yeah, the first couple times, but if you power through and learn how you won't have to worry about your arm swinging out when you bend over. The fabric can be a little hot, but if that's the price we pay for safety then so be it. I bought an extra so I have one to wear during washes of the first.

Excellent Sling – Avoid Sizing Up If Measurment Falls in Two sizes
We have tried a few arm slings on the market, but none have been as good as this one. The Willcom Arm Sling is comfortable, breathable, and provides secure immobilisation—it’s an excellent product overall. One thing to be careful about is SIZING. The instructions recommend choosing a larger size if your underbust measurement falls in two sizes and you prefer a looser fit. My husband’s measurement is 40", which falls in two sizes - Medium size and Large size . So we followed the guideline to size up and ordered a Large. However, it turned out to be far too big. We returned it and reordered a Medium size, which fits him perfectly and delivers the intended level of support and comfort. Based on our experience, if your measurement is BETWEEN SIZES, I would not recommend sizing up, as it may end up being far too big and does not fit.

1st relief I had in a week
I purchased this after having little to no pain relief from an intense bursitis flare in my shoulder. I already tried using a standard bought-at-walmart quality sling and suffered from it slipping around, pinching/pressure across my throat, and getting scratched up by the cheap velcro adjusting strap against the skin on my neck. I am not a small person so was a little concerned with the sizing listed on this post, but I discovered that it was more than adequate. The first time I put it on, after a moment of figuring out how the harness needed to be situated and getting my arm into the proper positioning to take the weight off my shoulder, I had astonishingly immediate pain relief. The harness system minimized the stress on my neck, allowing me to relax both shoulders. The strap around my chest was comfortable and effective at immobilizing my shoulder to allow it to rest and heal. I could not use that hand for anything in the mean-time (no typing, weight balance, etc.) but that is the point. And I am a fair snob about quality-to-cost, so I am glad to say I am pleased with the quality of the materials and manufacture. I think it will stand up to long-term use with proper maintenance. Thank you.

Great Support Off The Neck
The sling I was sent home in after bicep tendon surgery was hurting my neck after one day. This was a fantastic upgrade. It fit my arm when it was still swollen, when I had the cold therapy machine wrapped around my arm, and when leaving the house. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to put it on the first few times. The manufacturers had videos on this Amazon listing and on YouTube that made it easier. We never used the slip for the thumb and arm but it didn't affect how it functions or supports. I feel like it has very versatile support points so if one didn't work, there were ample alternatives. One tip to avoid frustration: when you're not wearing it, hang it up. I didn't the first few times and it got twisted, the velcro stuck in the wrong place, it was a nightmare getting it back to the right shape. We hung it over two simple Command hooks (I'm sure a hanger would work just as well) and never had that issue again.

Best sling available.
This is a very comfortable and supportive sling. It keeps the shoulder and elbow locked down perfectly.
