Perfect for what I was looking for. Easy to use

We tried two different thermostats from big box home improvement stores and customer service with them to get them installed. They were priced @75$ plus. Couldn’t get either to run our heat pump properly. Ordered this simple but effective thermostat for under 30$ delivered next day. Worked perfectly and installed by my adult son without any additional help only instruction's in the box! Highly recommend

Good a great price

In my opinion, a great thermostat for the professional. There's nothing weird or oddball about the setup and wiring of these, they have just enough settings that anybody would want to modify, including temperature calibration, compressor protection, temperature swing, etc. And a big beautiful display that's easy for older people to use and still has the Super reliable traditional physical switches that everyone is familiar with. They also have the option of using a C wire to make the batteries unnecessary, but you can also use the batteries for Homestead don't have a common hooked up

I got this Aowel 2 Heat/ 1 Cool Non-Programmable Thermostat to replace a Honeywell. Not only does it look better, but it is programed much better and that has made all the difference. My main complaint with the Honeywell is that did not allow me to program the deadband and I was having a hard time finding a thermostat which would. The deadband is how far from the set target the thermostat will allow the temperature to stray. So, a deadband of 1 degree will allow the interior temperature to move from 65 to 67 when set at 66 degrees. This is more efficient for gas furnaces, better of the longevity of your HVAC system, and (I find) provides superior general comfort. Having the heat kick on every 10 minutes is not desirable. But that is exactly what the old thermostat was doing. The Aowel thermostat is easy to program and and looks a little nicer than average. The deadband adjustment works and is easy to set and change. My Aowel thermostat was reading about 2 degrees below the actual temperature after I installed it. But you can set a temperature offset for the thermostat as well - so now it's accurate. What a sensible feature that so many other thermostats seem to overlook for some reason! Overall I am very pleased with this thermostat. It has common sense adjustments that are hard to find from other manufacturers. It has been working perfectly for me for about two weeks. And It looks better than the average thermostat for a fraction of the cost.

Thermostat worked well then after 10 months, The screen went blank would not recommend for anybody to buy this product
