This is absolutely my favorite mayonnaise that is without egg and made with avocado oil. It is the perfect taste for my chicken salad, sandwiches or any recipes that I need mayonnaise for. I just wish it wasn't so expensive and for some reason the price fluctuates almost daily.

I was initially disappointed because the product was a liquid on delivery. I did not throw it away as some purchasers had done. Instead, I reinstated the mayonnaise by whipping the liquid in a blender. It was fine to use in several of my recipes. I was pleasantly surprised with the vegan mayonnaise flavor. Glad to find a product made with healthy oils instead of canola and soybean oils which are unhealthy due to the high temperatures and chemicals used in the processing in refinery plants. The oils such as canola may be healthy on their own but it is the processing that makes them unhealthy.

I have never reviewed a food item before, but I feel compelled to say that these people do the best alternative mayonnaises I have ever had!! And this is coming from a lover of pure original Best Foods mayo. As another reviewer mentioned, the consistency of this mayo is a little thinner, but I don't care!! I can look forward to mayo again!! It's not exactly the same, but it pushes all the right buttons. :)

The last order opened the gar realize there was a air pocket so the container wasn't full.the size is 12 Oz other mayo is 20 Oz plus yours cost more i find this way over charging for product, definitely will not buy this again

It's so disappointing. We have bought dozens of jars of this in the past when it had superior tart flavor and served wonderfully as an instant dip for veggies--alone or with seasonings like curry powder--a thickener for soup that made soup thicker, creamier, and tart at the same time, a great dollop to add on top of a hot curry, etc. etc. etc. AND it also worked for tuna salad or chicken salad. The extra tricks it could play were due to the extra tartness and the chickpea flour. It was one-stop-recipe-improvement. Over the years from time to time they have changed it a bit but not enough to make it stop being valuable to us. Just recently after it was out of stock for a while (I wrote and asked why and got no answer), it came back in stock. We now own 6 24-oz. bottles of a product that did not say it had been reformulated and which does not taste or smell or feel or behave the same. It looks paler, has an oily feel in the mouth, is less tart and just not appealing. They have changed out the gum and changed chickpea flour to chickpea protein. Everything I make with it is less good. And in soup, instead of thickening the soup, it curdles. I don't know why they made this change, though I can think of some reasons. But now it actually tastes less good than many commercial mayonnaises not made with avocado oil. I'm seeking alternatives. Sir Kensington is not quite like the old Chosen but is peppery and interesting. But not made with avocado oil. I've written to Chosen to ask them, if they are going to sell this one, to give it a new name, and to bring back the old one, as "classic tart" or "recipe booster" or something, so we can still buy it.

I have such a restricted diet and not everything i make at home works out. I love sandwiches and some i vent have eggs i haven't been able to have sandwiches. Now I'm back in business!

This was supposed to be an avocado based MAYONNAISE. Instead, the jar if filled with some mixture of what looks like oil and some dark beige/brownish colored matter that I guess should be the mayo. I have had this mayo before and this is NOT it. Looks very bad, unhealthy and absolutely wrong color, texture and consistency. When I wanted to return it, in my order is says "item not eligible for return". That means that this is money wasted on bad/spoiled product. Not a good experience at all. Very unsatisfied.

Me llegó en buen estado, su sabor y textura es muy bueno, definitivamente una excelente alternativa vegana. Si la volvería a pedir cuando se me acabe.

Terribly disappointed. Wanted to love this vegan alternative and ordered two. This product is basically avocado oil with a muddy look to it. We shook it, stirred it, left it on the counter, put it in the fridge, we tried everything and it still doesn’t get a mayo texture as expected from a so-called “vegan mayo”. Oh and we can't return the product because it is considered groceries and we do not have a option for a refund. Very sad for this company that most likely had good intentions by creating a vegan alternative. Still, it's a rip off.
