To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, if anything. But after reading a lengthy article about it, I decided to give it a try. Shockingly, it has been one of the best supplements I've ever taken. My energy levels have shot up to the point that it is hard to believe. In fact, I didn't believe it at first. I thought it was some sort of coincidence. Nope. It is just incredibly effective!! I will be using this supplement from now on. No doubt about it.

I don't remember why I take them but no side effects so far.

I don't like to review supplements because you really can't tell if a particular supplement is actually improving your health or not (despite reviews which are probably can be credited to the placebo effect). That being said, GG is gaining a great deal of attention for it's importance in longevity. I won't get into all the benefits because you can just google all that stuff, but GG levels do diminish as you age, just like almost everything else, and especially if your taking statins because GG is in the Mevalonate pathway which statins block along with a number of other important compounds like CoQ10 (which is why I personally will never take statins). GG is also needed to metabolize CoQ10 so you should take both if your on statins. The GG-Gold seems to be the preferred type to take and this brand seems to be well made. I think its a good idea, if your older to take GG, because of ongoing research validating its use for longevity. One final note: IN MY HUBBLE OPINION: if you have extremely high cholesterol levels you should probably take statins but plaque buildup initially starts because of inflammation due to poor diet choices, lack of exercise, etc, etc, etc........correct these while your young and you can probably avoid statins and enriching the pharmaceutical industry.
